That's the stats for the calender year 2018 you knuckle head , i.e till last week !

He has 13 goals and 8 assists in 21 league games , that is still boss.

Your last paragraph is child like reasoning : if we win the league this season Salah will be the best signing as ultimately Klopp will be judged on trophies , not how many goals we conceded

See, I can do it too.

If we win the league our player of the season will be VVD hands down and he’ll be Klopp best signing easily

VvD for me.
What a player!
Salah, Alisson, Robertson and Mané have all been fantastic, but big Virgil is our main man.

Robertson for me.

VVD has been better than expected even for £75M. But to find a player of Roberson's quality and swap him for Kevin Stewart is daylight robbery.

The truth is, when we uhad previous managers it was a gamble how players turned out. Today. Klopp signs someone, you feel like they are going to work out. And be excellent. But then they go and play for another team, and they're not half as good! It's brilliant.

Be a worldy under Klopp or go be decent for any other manager. The good ones will hang around!

That's a really tough one. In terms of importance and influence then so far you'd have to say Virgil and then Allison, but they cost huge amounts of money between them, so they should be fucking good.

I think Robbo stands out, because you don't really expect to pay Hull £8m for a player and then 18 months later he's arguably the best player in his position in Europe.

And then there's Salah...

Controversial, but I think Salah's true level is what we are seeing this season. Whilst he was unbelievable last year, I still don't he's not in the top 5 for his position (CF).

Whilst it's undeniable his numbers/goals are world class, but his ability I still have question marks over; whether he truly is "world class". Or just a really quick player who gets into so many positions because of his speed that it enables him to be an inconsistent finisher and still post up great stats. I think, as a CF, the likes of Kane, Aguero, Ronaldo, Aubameyang are more well rounded players.

But then again, I also think Hazard is a better player than Mo, and i'd consider him "world class", despite never having a truly exceptional (Messi-like) season as Mo did last year, so heh, what do I know, eh.

Alisson, I have question marks over still. He makes top class saves and is a calming influence right now. But whilst he's made some great saves that we are all quick to look at and say "that's why he's worth 67m", equally he's also fumbled a few shots that have gone unpunished. I would put him in the top 10 GKs in the world. But not top 5. Yet.

VVD for me is world class. Easily. Irreplaceable. Top 5. Top 3. Maybe even the best for his position. A mammoth, a leader, a great footballer, and defender. Which is why he's the most important signing for me and Klopp's best buy.

I'm going with Robbo - Not because he's the best player (although he is fucking good) Just the price we paid, the impact he has had. It's an insane bit of business. Who do we thank for this? Michael Edwards? Klopp? Whoever it was is a smart cookie.

Klopp's best buy was his syrup. He wouldn't anywhere near this love-in if he was a slaphead, trust me.

2nd best was the eyewash that gets rid of his Mrs's Xmas whippies.

3rd best VVD.

Agree on Salah, last year was an exception. What we're seeing now is closer to his true level. Hes still an excellent forward, but I dont expect him to ever have another season like last year.

Salah is on 13 goals 1 less than Kane and PEA and he not given that penalty to Bobby to take would have been on 14. Moreover, how man times has Mane gone for goal from acute angles even after seeing Salah was in the better position? If Mane made the right decision to pass to Salah, then the man would probably be on 16-17 goals for the season
