Is Gotze > Reus?
Both have had injuries yeah?
He's played 44, 45 and 48 games the last 3 seasons without counting International games.
Reus were injured a lot last season but played 49 and 44 games the two prior seasons.

Too early to say. I'd never heard of Goetze when Klopp gave him a chance. Is Grujic really comparable to Goezte?
Is that a life size barbie doll?

Ok, but there's no comparison between signing and unheard of player, like Grujic, to a player that everyone has now heard of, like Goetze.
Should have put Newcastle in after Palace, and before West Ham, but I think we have beaten Stoke.
On the main issue of this thread - I don't think he is the LFC type player - does he wait for service ? - can he run with energy and show good movement ? is he clever ? I think Klopp alluded to the fact that his players are just fucking think in the press conference yesterday, and that is his biggest challenge.

Götze is certainly injured enough for LFC. Unlikely to come back before February. But seriously: could well happen in the summer
He signed in 2013 and at least a 4 year, but I'm guessing 5 year deal. So he probably has two years left. He'd cost a fortune.
Not really a problem if he's better though.Just what we need, more number 10s.
I have an irrational hatred of Goetze.
No.10 was where Klopp eventually settled on playing him, but he filled a variety of attacking roles up till then and has for Germany since. Quite a few of us have posted before about the need for an attacker who can play either down the middle or out wide. Goetze would fit those criteria very well if (a) we could get him and (b) he settled into the Prem.
Two questions, is he the kind of player who can excel at a team as the leading man, or is he simply a great player when in a great team? And is he a high scoring player? Because goals are what we need right now.
Especially when you have three others like that in the four.He scores at about 1 in 3. That'll do. It is becoming painfully obvious that we need to replace Lallana. He's a skilful player on his day and all, but you can't be part of a front 4 and score practically no goals.
Gotze is good but he is going to cost £30m ish and be injured. I think Klopp wants value for money, and this guy looks to be good going by stats - 17 goals 14 Assists in 45 appearances 2014/2015 season. He is only 18
We need a player who can carry the rest of them. Another Suarez or a Sanchez type player. I don't know if Gotze is that player or who that player should be. It's just wishful thinking on my part.
Would Reus suit us better?
Disclaimer : I realise both are probably pipe dreams.

I think the time has passed for us to sign Reus - unless he can adapt his game. I cant say I've seen him enough to judge whether he can or would do that.
Goatse on the other hand is a risk worth taking
This guy looks immense. I'd have him!
This - as many said before we signed him - would be a big advantage of having Klopp ... He will attract players like this ... Goetze is a great talent, and I'd be stoked if we get him (though I don't think it will happen)
