That would be a good price on the clubs part, but I reckon £5M is a fairer reflection.

He's been a very good player for us and but his stock's certainly at its lowest since joining us. He's getting on, there are injury concerns, he hasn't shined since coming back from injury and remains part of Klopp's B team.

That said, if I were a mid-table manager I'd snap him up.

If we're back in Europe next year I don't see a huge cull on the horizon. We will need a decent squad, not just a top first eleven. To sell a load of what we have now, rebuild the 'squad' and add some real talent is gonna cost mega bucks. Ain't gonna happen
