He was central to everything yesterday, every move came through him, he was phenomenal, somehow he didn't score.
 
I agree with the idea of playing him more centrally in these games and Sturridge more out wide, against teams like Fulham, Suarez will have more chance of breaking down the defence than Sturridge.

I suppose the reason Rodgers chose to play Sturridge through the middle was that his pace would tell against Fulham's slow defence, which is what happened for his goal.

True, I do think chances to break with pace were much more limited, we just took them ruthlessly. Suarez would have caused many more issues imo.

Yeha you're right, but that's because Fulham were playing so deep and focused on compacting the middle. I'm not sure it matters too much who starts centrally anyway. The fluidity of our front line is phenomenal.
