If that guy is married imagine the conversation with his wife or whoever he is with:-

Ayre: "Sorry luv I can't come on the flight - one of our players tried to eat an opposition player ...'
Ayre's bitch: "you what ?..."
'Ayres BITCH'

Twat.

Suarez is fascinating when most of football is mind-numbingly boring, painfully predictable and absurdly pompous.
Is right mate. I know its FiFA's 'product' now and the FA love a saccharine smiley boring corporate over advertised TV showbiz glamorous EXTRAVAGANZA!

I still quite like mentalness like Zidane headbutting Materazzi and......well Suarez.

I cant abide the press falling over themselves to show how they can outdo the others with their condemnation.
Fuck them. Fuck opponents. Fuck the opposition fans. Fuck the naysayers.
Fuck em.
He didnt even sink his teeth in for fuck sake, he squeezed his arm with hia teeth. He didnt bury a hatchet into his fucking leg.

Oh and fuck Souness and Redknapp. Skys little corporate cock sucking shills.

Who said Ayre was going on holiday? Maybe he was traveling out there to tie up a deal.

"The seriousness of the latest episode was reflected by Ayre’s decision to cancel a planned trip to Australia, Indonesia and Thailand last night to promote the club’s pre-season tour to take charge of Liverpool’s response."

Well they eat dog and kangaroo cock and shit. So theyll likely understand.

Hopefully he was also travelling with Allen's player registration certificate to hand it to Ryan and tell him to turn that sunnabitch sideways, and stick it straight up his monkey ass.

Sex tourist.

This club didnt self destruct with the sales of Owen or Alonso or Torres, we can survive without Suarez too

well we didn't self destruct but how has selling our better players of the last few years worked out for us ? 7th, 6th,8th and most likely 7th again . That's how.

This incident annoys me as it shows he doesn't learn.

Sell him though? No way, he's our only remaining world class talent. I imagine we will in the summer though, should a bid of around 50 million come in...And we will sign 3 average players for 15 million each, not worth it. Plus he makes life interesting.

So the same player and the same offence is not a worthy comparison, see what you want to see mate.

Ajax decided he wasn't worth the trouble, some people here seem to think that because he has had a great season he can do whatever the fuck he wants no matter how low he sinks. Maybe you could print up some T-Shirts in support of him and convince him to stay

do you know for certain that's why they sold him ?Did they ever say after that it was a factor ? It wasn't at all to do with the fact they are a selling club and we gave them 22m pounds ?

He was club captain and he never played another game for them following his ban, so I think its safe to say it was a factor, as was the 22 million obviously

For the record, Suarez left in January 2011, Stekelenburg in August 2011, and van der Wiel in September 2012.

This article is from July 2010. Suarez bared his fangs in November 2010.

Ajax forced to sell Suarez, Stekelenburg and van der Wiel
19 July 2010 - 15:46

Ajax will be forced to sell a host of their top stars this summer, according to former youth team coach Arnold Muhren. The Amsterdam side’s poor financial situation looks certain to force the sale of Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez, Dutch number one Maarten Stekelenburg and right-back Gregory van der Wiel; a situation which looks likely to precipitate the departure of Martin Jol to Fulham.

Jol, who formally managed Tottenham Hotspur, is expected to be announced as the new manager of the west London side in the next 48 hours but it is news of the apparent availability of the Dutch side’s best players which could alert coaching staff at other Premier League clubs.

Suarez has long been linked with a switch to England with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur both thought to be keen on the prolific hitman. The attacker cut an impressive, as well as controversial figure, at the World Cup scoring the goals which took Uruguay to a quarter-final with Ghana before preventing the African side reaching the semis by deliberately handballing in the last second to deny a likely winning goal. Valued in the region of €25 million, the 23-year-old’s scoring record has also alerted Barcelona and a host of sides in Italy.

Stekelenburg’s impressive showing between the sticks for Holland at the World Cup has also seen his stock rise. Filling the boots of the retired Edwin van der Sar, the 27-year-old made only one notable gaffe during his seven appearances and was a consistent performer behind his solid defence. Spanish side Villarreal and German champions Bayern Munich are thought to be tracking his situation with a bid in the region of €10 million likely to be enough to persuade Ajax to sell.

Van der Wiel, who has been heavily linked with Arsenal and Chelsea, has already been the subject of a bid from Bayern who are expected to wrap up a big money deal for the youngster which will see him reunited with compatriots Mark van Bommel and Arjen Robben at the Allianz Arena.

Speaking about the situation at the Amsterdam Arena, Arnold Muhren told Sky Sports he expected Jol to leave for Fulham with several players heading for the exit:

"My understanding is that talks have already begun with Fulham.

"I wouldn't blame him if he left. Fulham is a good club. They play good football and they reached the Europa League final last year.

"Maybe he is thinking that there are better prospects for him at Fulham. If he thinks he can't win the Dutch league at Ajax then he might leave.

"I know Martin is unhappy at Ajax because he wants to buy some new players but because the club lost 21million euros last year, they won't let him.

"There are a lot of players at the club that they want to sell. He wants to bring new players in but they won't let him do that without selling players first. There is no other money to spend.

"He is desperate for a striker. He has been told that he must sell Suarez and Marko Pantelic was only offered a one-year deal when he wanted two or three years so he has left.

"Martin wants to win the Dutch league this season and the board want to sell Suarez. He scored 35 goals last season so he would be impossible to replace."

I'm sick of defending him if I'm honest, genius footballer, but has psychopathic tendencies. He's on the wrong side of the fine line for me.

haha... "psychopathic tendencies" . fuck me .

This makes so little sense at this stage of the season.
It almost seems like he did to get sold while being able to maintain he loves the club and doesn't want to leave.
As for all the media hype, it will die down it always does. The bite was pretty brutal but what's worse biting someone or going in to break someone's leg or end their career as many have done over the years?

I'd keep him 100% if he wants to stay.

We would not have the pleasure of having him if he was not a bit bitey. It certainly does not increase his sellability. There was a reason nobody else was in for him from Ajax.

christ i dispair . Yeah i'm sure this was his master plan all along . Or maybe he did it because he's an ultra competitive player who get so involved, he appears to lose himself and do stupid things before he's even realised what he's done .

anyway , the majority of people involved in football are a bunch of cunts - players, managers , the media, the fans (ours included) .They get on their high horse and express moral outrage over some silly incident on a football pitch with hypocrisy that knows no bounds . Suarez drives these plebs to new levels of frustration and anger and for that i love him .

This incident annoys me as it shows he doesn't learn.
.

Hahhaha, this is fucking absurd. You think pre Ajax, he wasn't aware that logically, it's not a good idea to bite people? Like, he had to test it out first, om nom nom, and he chewed his way right into an axiom, and the dutch FA inscribed upon his soul a new morality? Or is it that he would bite people all the time, but he had a slightly incorrect understanding of the punishment involved, so the cost calculation was off?

People don't learn not to bite people in their late twenties.

Suarez could be a really nice guy. When pushed to the competitive brink, he's capable of the fucking insane. He's not the only figure in sports like this. I rather like parts of this insanity. I certainly appreciate his type of raw unhinged over the self-concious theatrical bullshit of a Didier Drogba feigning seizure, or the good old fashioned goon raking studs and throwing sneaky elbows.

If this sort of thing reduces his value massively, which I very much doubt is the case, we'd be even stupider to sell him because of it.

Pfffttttt... just a nibble and no blood drawn, not even a mark on the Chelsea player.

What kind of people are footballers? Poofs?

Get on with it!

yesterday was his 30th goal of the season . In this shit team that's fantastic . I'm not saying at all that it's ok to go around biting people but if the club sell him cause some Sky numpties , dickhead cretin fans and rag journos express 'moral' outrage then they can fuck off , i'd be done .

That is a pathetic excuse for the way he behaves and more fool you if you believe it, its like being asked what you biggest weakness is in a job interview and saying "I'm a perfectionist"

I mean you could argue that his diving and handball antics are driven by a will to win, but I fail to see how biting an opposition player helps you win the game

In fairness Ivanovic has accepted his apology and apparently told the police he has no interest in pursuing the matter (police were called by a fan), its not as if he or Chelsea are making this into a controversy, Rafa refused to even comment on it.Respect to both of them on that score

There is no conspiracy here, what he did is there for all to see now he has to face the consequences

did i offer it as an excuse ? it's more an explanation (or theory ) on why he does the things he does .

And i doubt he bit a player to help win the game , he did it out of anger because he plays right on the edge of his emotions and lashes out stupidly without thinking . Again not an excuse ,an explanation .

The press were a joke yesterday in the interviews with both managers:

Press: "So Rafa/Brendan, do you think it's a shame that no one will be talking about the football tomorrow but about Suarez instead"

Rafa/Brendan: "I haven't seen the incident, so it'd be unfair to comment"

Press: "Yes, but don't you think it's sad that everyone will be wanting to talk about this incident instead of the game you've just played".

And so on.. Shut the fuck up about it then and ask about the football, you hypocritical idiot.

I can't help but laugh when I see the footage. I would love to hear what was going on inside his head..

I'm sure he will get the book thrown at him.

I don't think a player has missed as many games through foul play on such a grandiose scale..
