The shocking image of the inexplicable nugget has been shared widely on social media this afternoon, with many Liverpool FC fans seeing it as yet more proof that the Welshman holds the key to all our futures.
In a devastating twist for the bearded maestro, it comes just weeks after Allen appeared on the cover of Chicken and Egg magazine and declared his love for the 16 chickens he keeps at home.
Allen and wife Lacey have a coop in their garden, where they look after the chickens as part of their interest in animal welfare.
He was even bought a cockerel for his 24th birthday and has names for all of his much-loved chickens.
