Thought roy was going to usher in a new era of blooding yoofs early doors; just a shame he'd give 4-5 of them a go surrounded by dross second team and then criticise the hell out of them.
 
anyone who has gone to the reserves will tell you he is fucking amazing. he is better than patches RIGHT NOW. I personally think he is the best young player I've seen in the reserves since gerrard.
 
I'm going to go back and have a look at my old posts to see when exactly I said this guy was very special. it was ages ago.
 
Wow he looks to have a real touch of class. I wonder if he will develop to play deeper like Alonso or if he is more of an in the hole type?

Fantastic performance looking at that. From the little i've seen (about 3-5 games) he looks like he could be incredible if he keeps developing. A tad of yossi-itis about him though.

Also, the right back looks quite decent. Is that flanigan?

He looks class, but watching that compilation does anyone in that team know how to shoot? 'Tippy Tappy' comes to mind - especially Suso, who just tried to beat every player every time.

he is one of those players when just has that bit of class about him and the thing that makes his as top top talent is he knows when to hold the ball and he knows when to pass when you have seasoned pros like kuyt and maxi who have no idea when to release the ball. he is also fantastic at just making that extra yard of space for himself. he's fantastic but he is slight and I suspect that is the reason you haven't seen him on the fringe of the first team yet.
sure, owen was slight but owen didn't play on the wing.

I hope gets a soon chance then we need a left foot winger, might save us some cash.

I know he's quite small. But so is Pacheco. We can't just wait until he gets bigger. Like you said, you can already see that he "knows" football.

He has a touch of the fabregas about him with regard to possession and passing. But i don't get the maxi thing, he's a good user of the ball unless he's having a nightmare game.
 
gh's legacy was the first team he left rafa (where the majority of them won the CL)
rafa's legacy will be the kids where 4 or 5 are excellent with suso being the pick of the bunch.

I hope he keeps his head down and works hard, and doesn't hope he is the dogs bollocks already. Don't pay him too much money so he gets greedy, and ensure he can only afford a small self contained batchelor pad at the Albert Dock.
