Brazilian star Alex Teixeira

Liverpool have been given a second chance of signing Alex Teixeira after he was placed on the transfer list by Jiangsu Suning.
The Reds tried to land the Brazilian back in January 2016 when he was plying his trade for Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk.
Liverpool offered to pay over £25million for the attacking midfielder, in what would have been Jurgen Klopp's first major signing since taking charge at Anfield.
However, the approach was knocked back by Shakhtar and within a month Teixeira had been sold to Jiangsu Suning for a then Chinese record fee of £38.4m [€50m].
The 27-year-old had been very keen on a move to Anfield, though, and he could finally get the chance to move there.
According to Tuttosport, Teixeira has been transfer listed by Jiangsu Suning and they are ready to sell him in January.
The Chinese club are apparently ready to cash in on the Brazilian after head coach Fabio Capello said he was no longer part of his plans.
That news will no doubt be of interest to Liverpool, but Inter Milan are also thought to be keen on Teixeira too.

Real Madrid certain Liverpool will do €100m deal for attacker; Bale swap mooted

Real Madrid are reportedly confident that Liverpool are prepared to sell star winger Mo Salah and may even consider a swap deal instead.
Real president Florentino Perez has made it clear that the club will undertake a very ambitious transfer campaign next summer, after recent attempts to strengthen the

Perez was not pleased with the business the La Liga giants did last summer and is determined that the same mistake does not happen again, according to the report on Calciomercato.
Harry Kane, Mauro Icardi and Thibaut Courtois have all mentioned as possible targets but Perez is said to favour a move for Reds star Salah above all others.

Real view the Egyptian, who has been magnificent since moving to Anfield in the summer, as the perfect replacement for Gareth Bale, whose injury-plagued time at The Bernabeu appears to be coming to an end.
And the Spanish side are reportedly sure that Liverpool are willing to do a deal at €100million, while they have also not ruled out the possibility of using Bale in a player-plus-cash move.
Real boss Zinedine Zidane is already said to have given the green light for Salah’s arrival after speaking about him in glowing terms recently: “He is a great player. He showed that in Rome and is now doing the same in Liverpool.
“He is an important player and is growing more all the time. He is still young, and can improve a great deal.”

Even if that's true, Doc, I wouldn't share your apparent assumption that he'll definitely go there. Not that I'm saying he definitely won't, but for one thing such a deal may depend on Southampton charging less for him than the fee they wanted before, which reportedly turned City off the idea then, and for another it'll be interesting to see if van Dijk steps back from his insistence previously that he wants a move to LFC.

I'm sure a move to the Champions of England and possibly Europe won't be too far a step back...

Was looking at Alex Teixeira on youtube and I think he is faster than Mo Salah with tricky feet but looks light as a feather. If the price is right ie around £25m, I wouldn't object too much

Lolz. If Coutinho didn't go for €130m these jokers have no chance.

I don't know what the newspapers say, but I think it's possible we'll see a rare swap deal between top clubs this January, with Ozil going to United and Mkhitaryan to Arsenal. It just makes sense for all parties.

They were well on their way when they originally started sniffing around van Dijk as well, and he still made it clear that he wanted to come to LFC.

We shouldn't be in talks to sign any Real or Barca player.

Doing so just means they'll feel more comfortable unsettling our players imo, as they'll believe they we have some skin in the game so will be less likely to play hardball as we should be doing.

If we do want any of their players then we should wait until it looks utterly inevitable that we'll lose a player to them & make them part of the deal, reluctantly, whilst rinsing them for every penny we can get & low balling the incoming players valuation.

By showing interest in a player beforehand it's simply tipping our hand. Not clever long term thinking.

Could he be same situation as salah?
I dunno how well he had done in China or if it even matters based on the level of their football
He was all ready to come to us, pictured with a LFC shirt and all, and then the big bucks came from China and he was away like a rat up a drainpipe. For a relatively young player it showed a complete lack of professional ambition and a complete focus on a big paycheque. Bugger him.

The Israeli is Eran Zehavi - who got booted off the national team for throwing his armband on the floor.

He is a pretty good goalscorer, and I think much better than Rosenthal (club & country) but he's not Yossi Yossi Yossi Yossi Yossi Benayoun.
