No need to worry. I can gurantee that the transfer of Suarez and possible transfer of Torres are NOT linked. To suggest it would be madness.

Obafemi is off to Brum

I dont know ( and neither does he, I suspect) how old this lad is now but I always thought he was half decent at the toon.

Remember a goal he scored against watford or someone where he very nearly broke the net from a standing position from 25 yards out, blunderbuss it was!

Certainly, and I'm happy to repeat that I think he's a very good player, but those figures are from La Liga. He couldn't hack the Prem last time and I'm not sure what evidence there is to suggest he'll do better this time around. Guess we'll soon find out.

[/quote]He's a far better player now than the one who left United. He's been class for about 4 years.
 
I wish we'd hijacked that Forlan deal. He's going to be classy as shit like Van der Vaart, and we'll all wonder how they got him so cheap.

I'd probably prefer we bought Forlan for the rumoured 8-10M and then get an ace striker in the summer rather than overspend on a rushed replacement right now.
