Although everyone on here - and I do believe I speak on behalf of everyone - think you've got a shit attitude at times I quite like your suggestion of Benzema. I don't think Mourinho would ever sell to us and certainly not for £15M. £20-25M come Summer perhaps.

Suggesting Carroll is just mind-bogglingly tedious as everyone knows he'll never leave in January for pennies.

By same logic I think I'll suggest Rooney and Drogba.

1. I didn't know there was a 15 million pound spending cap.
2. What makes you think that Bentner would be a more plausible January move, where as Benzema or Carroll are unlikely to move in the winter window.

I'm not going to react to your comment on my attitude. You have certainly made some laughably stupid posts whenever I have questioned your blind belief on Bendtner....i'll add this to the list.

well, personally i'd like to see us go out and sign 5 really top youngsters, with an eye on the future more than the present. so it's a bit difficult to name those kinds of players because they tend to be less visible - not played too much etc. but the sorts of names i think we should be going for would include romelu lukaku and the aforementioned mr wickham at ipswich.

it's a type of player i'm hoping we sign rather than any particular player.

Well, personally I don't think you'd make much difference in Liverpool FC come January with any of those young albeit promising players.

One is way beyond our reach anyways and the other, a ready-made January-poacher?

I'd break the bank to get Lukaku in and just let him play next to Torres for the rest of the year. Or I'd part with up to 8 mil for Rodallega.
