Hopefully this is as accurate as everything else he comes up with - he’s like a poor man’s Henderson, only slower, less skilful, less technically capable and with less drive.

Likely based on the fact he’s scored against us.

Pointed him out to people hear about cuople season agao when within a cuople of weeks we played Leicester in both Cup and League. In one game he played very well gave us lots of porbles. in the other he bossed the midfield and for many hear he was the man of the match.

A great player and is only getting better

Is Caicedo going to sign for us ? He wants to join right ?
He wants to join anyone willing to provide him with CL football and double his wage, I guess.
Bet he didn't grow up idolising Gerrard.
And he'll join Barca or Madrid as soon as they set their eyes on him.

What about Houssem Aouar?
Contract expires in the summer, like Tielemans.

You could name prime Xavi on a free, and we wouldn't get a MF this window. I'd take Houssem Aouar, he can play CM or AM. but who do you get rid of to play him? We might on the off chance get someone like him if we can offload say Adriane or Naby has another injury ruling him out for the season

Is it bad if he'll jump to the Spanish sides? Hey, if they want to fund our rebuild by splashingthe cash, all for it. Our current problems are based on not knowing when or being unable to let players go. Our recent success was fueled by players like Coutinho fucking off and being parlayed into multiple top players.

I'll see you a with a Mascherano and raise you with Alonso.

No that can't be true, all players want to join is don't they?

I'll counter with a double-barrelled response of Naby Keita and Oxlade-Chamberlin. Game, set, match.

(I've got an Arthur up my sleeve if you choose to reply.)

Midfielders with sell-on value and a willingness to go to richer teams aren't a problem right now.

[article]Liverpool are happy to wait for Napoli defender Kim-min Jae until this summer.

The Reds are keen on the South Korea international amid claims they could move for him this month given Virgil van Dijk's hamstring injury.

However, Il Corriere dello Sport says they will look to activate the player's release clause, which doesn't become active until July.

Kim would be available for a fee of around £44m (€50m) at the end of the season. But if Van Dijk is out for a sustained period, Liverpool could accelerate their transfer plans and bring forward a deal for Kim.

Kim started his professional career in South Korea before moving to Chinese Super League club Beijing Guoan in 2019. He had a season at Fenerbahce before joining Napoli last summer.

His performances in the Champions League this season, including two appearances against Liverpool in the group stage, have attracted interest. He also impressed for South Korea at the World Cup in Qatar.[/article]

This is insane, really it is, it's not the problem of the pandemic year, I cannot believe we won't sign anyone for our midfield this window, makes no sense when clearly our mids are no longer capable of playing the type of football
Klopp wants to play. But he is thinking that he has enough mids that he can rotate and it will be enough, the teams around us are so much stronger now, the entire scene has changed for the PL, and he is probably gambling like our owners that they can't keep it up and we will be back in the race. Guess it's gonna be fun watching us then win lose lose win win lose lose ...oh look we finished 8th....who would've thought that.

If we buy a defender or another attacker we are done.

We need midfielders. The fact we have to deregister players means this link was likely to be about a new contract.

I said it somewhere else (fuck knows where), but a CB this summer should certainly be high on the list of priorities. We have VVD who's beginning to fade, matip and Gomez who are either 1)getting older or 2) shite. We'll no doubt sell nat. Leaving us with Ibou (who's so far not proved himself to be made of granite). We talk about how the midfield was neglected and that's why we're where we are, but for me CB is certainly the next to fade. It shouldn't be the primary target, but it 100% needs looking at now

An ideal summer would be 2 starting CMS (if one isn't bought in Jan) and a cb

Completely agree

He's 27 though. For no doubt what Fulham would ask, I don't know if it's worth it
