Jan Transfer Window (rumours, wishes, exists and formation change)

Yes, he is a generational talent imho. He has just about everything.

Didnt Wirtz suffer a serious knee injury or something? I think he's been out for a few months already, but before that he has was exceptional.

Incredibly talented but injured and often not available. Our transfer committee must be licking their lips in anticipation.

So we should sign Bellingham in January, loan him back to Dortmund and then sell Ox & Keita?

You know that doesn’t actually solve any of our problems - we’d be as well doing nothing at all.

Would be a start, and I was not ruling out selling Henderson, Milner, Gomez, Firmino etc, or bringing someone else in.....

Just said that we should stat there

Dont think we should be getting on the Bellingham hype train tbh. Blowing our entire budget on one player when we have so many holes to fill doesnt seem like the best approach.

FSG said that they would back Klopp in a big money move. Klopp should test them

17 years old and still growing/developing. Injuries at this stage could be a lot of things.

Lol, yes yes ,the Liverpool player signature...Talented, Injured, Never Available when you need him most !!!!

Yes… let’s sell everyone - may as well chuck Trent, Salah, Jones & Kelleher on that list too - then we can go about signing the best young players from Australia, the US and the Hackney Marshes.

It’s a “cunning plan”.

Who, the fuck, is going to buy them?
Keita and Chamberlain are invalids on massive wages. It makes me want to weep when someone posts these suggestions.
He said moving them on, which could just means cancel their contracts.

Are we likely to bring in 2 midfielders in January - bearing in mind those two cost the guys of £100m - given we have space to bring in a couple of players without moving anyone on?

We should.

We won’t though - there’s no point in getting upset when something that was unlikely to happen doesn’t happen.

They’re going in the summer, when we’re more likely to refresh and rebuild - it’s just not going to happen mid-season.

Bring one good one in - because there’s space, money for a decent fee and money in the wage budget.

Come the summer, then we bring in a really big signing and maybe one more - and if Bobby goes, then we need another forward too.

I agree with you. I reckon there will be one coming in now, one in the summer.
And a few outs too I hope.

Real Madrid and City in a bidding war for a player who doesnt have a release clause. Shit for us and great for Dortmund. We should look elsewhere with our limited budget.

Meh, we need to back to our midfield roots and that doesn’t involve 9 figure youngsters

No we're never gonna surviveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-hiveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Uhhhhh hunnnnn-less

we get a little

crayyyy zeeehhhhh

I don't think anyone was expecting him to come after the start we have had. I think folks are just poking fun at the club's line of "Only Bellingham can improve us".

It was a ridiculous fantasy from day 1. We could win the quad and still wouldn't sign him.

I didn't like the idea of spending over 100 million on him. I find the entire premise of we are some kind of super team which needed only one or two additions every two years somewhat distasteful. Even when we won the CL and PL, we had several positions like the attack, RB, and LB for which we did not have adequate cover, and a couple of injuries at certain positions could have derailed our season. We are an upper middle-class club, and we should focus on the signings like Mane, Salah, Jota, and Robertson and continue to build our squad. Hopefully, this season's start puts an end to the notion that we are some kind of Real Madrid or Bayern.

That is not downplaying our achievements. As a club, we have been at our best when we have our backs to the wall and need to fight our way out.

And any staff or player who even has the idea to write a book about how great we are should be immediately fired.

I'm bored of saying it, but we should be looking at bringing in Tielemans in January for £15m(ish), or wait til he's free in the summer. He's perfect to fill one of the vacant positions left when Chamberlain, Keita and Milner leave, and will costs will costs peanuts for his ability. We really should be all over it.

Mate we won a CL and did not sign anyone that summer, if we had won the quad we would give away some of our players without signing anyone.

What’s his injury record?
