I don't think that's true.

This season really is one big shitfest.

Yep if it is true this season's just going to get worse

Ok.

Sorry Pete, I just don't want to believe its true.
Fuck it anyway. This season is a complete clusterfuck.

If Nando is out till February Im starting to look see where we can get another 21 points to avoid relegation. Strange there was very little talk last night about what his situation is. Someone even suggested that he had had the operation already.

What source did you get for this? Shit news if true.
We alwayss knew we'd struggle if Torres was out for a while. Rafa's own fault for not having any decent back up strikers.

Well, Benitez said he now needs rest and treatment for three weeks, and they just need to wait and see rather than set a deadline for him being declared fit again. I'm not sure how much more could have been said last night if that was indeed the truth, and if it wasn't it seems an odd bit of misinformation to put out there.

Jesus. So many questions.

Who do we buy in January? Do we need to find a replacement because Torres is too good to stick around for a team not in the champions league.

We could go into next season in a similar position to Rafa's first season. New manager, top striker wanting to leave only this time the club has no money to spend for replacements.

All what if's.

I was thinking about this the other day and I'd be pretty disappointed if players wanted out just because we'd had a bad season.

Players at clubs like Valencia and Milan have stuck around in the UEFA Cup in recent years. I'd hope ours would do the same if worst comes to worst.

N'Gog will lead us.

True.

Although most of the Milan players have a mantle piece full of silverware from club football while Torres, Masher and Reina (One FA Cup) don't.

When Rafa was interviewed prior to the game he seemed a little uneasy when questioned about Nando. He basically said that Nando told him he was unable to play. The reporter then enquired whether he was attending the game and his reply was that he didnt know whether he was going to be there or not.

Seemed a little odd.

I think he is pregnant and due in the next couple of months. If he comes back about 20 llbs heavier and bursts into tears at the smallest hint of confrontation, then we all know that I am right.

I kid you not, I think N'Gog will be fine by himself - he's nowhere near as good as Nando but he wants to prove himself and this is exactly how some of our 'young stars' in the early 1990s got their chances - injuries. Now he may struggle but I think, and always have, there's enough there for him to be a very good striker. How good? who knows, but I think he can hold his own and lead the line until a healthy Nando returns.

I think the fact that Rafa is being evasive about it shows there's more to it than they initially let on.

I believe you Piedro.

IF this is the case, then he must have had/be having surgery this week. It would be impossible to put a time frame like this on just letting it heal naturally. Bad news for us, will our bad luck with injuries never end?
