If you could change the result of any game that we werent involved in what would you pick?

United 3 Villa 2. It practically won them the title last year.

Else, pretty much any United big win.

i.e. Bayern winning in 1999 etc.

Mines a United one too obv.
There was an FA cup game when Fergie had been in charge for 5 years i think against Norwich. Rumour has it the board were set to sack the saggy faced cunt if he lost. He didnt.

Scum V Palace FA Cup Final.

Had they lost, ol' whiskey nose would have been canned.

Fcuking Lee Martin.

It was away to Nottingham Forest, and Mark Robins scored the winner for the Mancs.

Mark Robins once played for Norwich too, didnt he?

I'd agree with the choices here, any match which would have cost Slur his job or a major trophy is the obvious choice.

I'd also like to nominate an FA Cup quarter or semifinal match in which the Scum drew with Oldham, having equalised shortly before the final whistle..

Must have been in '94 or something.

Also this season's debacle with Spurs; I was so enraged that they'd done it AGAIN that I lost it and called up a good Spurs mate and let him have it; he's still upset about it ;D

He did indeed.

That Robins goal has gone down in folklore as 'the goal that saved Fergie' but it's been rubbished by all sides since, with most of the United hierarchy claiming he'd have stayed in a job regardless of the Cup result.

Easy to say that in hindsight given the cunt's won everything bar the Grand National for them since, but at the time he was perilously close to being given the boot.

Scruffy winner from Robins too, the jammy cunt.

I'd have changed the result in the round prior to Munich in 58. No tragedy and no darlings of the media ever since.
