"It's complicated"? -- No it isn't, fuck off Barca - £113 Million bid rejected

Guillem has been abit of a G over this.
I like his little Gerbil face again.0
Yeah, came to this conclusion a day or two ago. He's been spot on about everything about this from the word go. Also heard some guy earlier who is at Barca saying the club's administrators have no confidence of signing coutinho (even if the Catalan press are still in lala land).

Well with this stinking turd of a window its fucking VITAL we keep the boy.

Weve fucked up on VVD.
No CB is jokes.

So lets keep Phillipe and close the fucking window.

My Ma didnt know about my last promotion until about 2 months after it happened.
Fucking little puss.
'Mummy they wont let me go'

Love the manager love the owners. We really are making an example of him. Dare to leave cunts and this is what happens.

The cunt will certainly be looking to fake another injury and stay in Brazil for treatment until January.

Coutinho and his family acting ‘like they’re at a funeral’ in Brazil

We actually scoffed when we saw this story in Spanish newspaper Sport…
Without any irony, they’re claiming that Coutinho’s family has met him in Brazil and the scene is ‘like a funeral’, with ‘nobody laughing or speaking’, after he finally accepted he’s not going to get his dream move to Barcelona.

The report is roughly translated and summarised in this tweet, by @stufflfc:

With Liverpool not getting Lemar, Philippe Coutinho has been made aware that he won't be leaving Liverpool this summer. #lfc[Sport]
Coutinho's parents are arriving at Brazil's training camp via taxi and the atmosphere is thought to be that of a funeral. #lfc [Sport]

There’s plenty of bad things going on in the world, but missing out on a summer switch to Barcelona, when you’re already a multimillionaire and have a happy family life in the brilliant city of Liverpool, isn’t one of them.

Coutinho will now have no choice but to start behaving like a man, a professional, and like somebody who owes his wonderful career largely to his current employers.
The more we hear about Phil’s behaviour this summer, the more we wish we’d got rid and bought Thomas Lemar instead – but neither move is going to happen at this late hour.
Instead, our previously loved no.10 needs to sort his head out and start doing what he’s paid to do for Liverpool. Nothing else will be acceptable upon his return

What he needs to do is tell Barcelona to sign Lemar and VVD tomorrow morning.

Then put a bid in for £150m (plus those two on loan with an option to buy for 50m a piece in January) for Coutinho.

Came on as a sub (at 0-0) and scored Brazil's 2nd goal.

Putting up a show for Barca to make a last push?

Nah, he's just good. We can stop pretending like we don't need him now, just because two clubs decided that they would like to see how a nice open game and a high line goes against us.
I voted sell in the other thread but after the transfer window we had, losing him now will be disastrous.

Looks like he's recovered from his injury.
Looking forward to see him scoring this type of goals for us.

He seemed more emotional than usual after scoring, almost seemed like he was going to cry. Fucking little magical genius rat 🙂. I'm glad we kept him.

Personally, the ideal scenario (if his long term future is not at the club) will be for him to stay, play well and PSG come in for him with silly money after the WC. After all, they are the most likely club to rival Barca in this chase, his close mate Neymar's there and they have a sizable Brazilian contingent.

PSG will have Mbappe money deducted from next season's FFP limit, no? If that's the case, I don't think they can afford Coutinho.

Perhaps some form of sponsorship deal will solve the problem. 😛 Some players will probably leave too (Draxler, Moura, Pastore etc.).
