Italy v Germany match thread

Am I right in thinking this Italian side is made up of players from quite a few teams, not all of them star players or the best teams?

If so england could learn a lot, Osman, Britton, & countless others could make a great team, instead of the 'best' players shoehorned into a formation.

If he gets a daft yellow now he misses the final.

Fuck me that's stupid.

Well 2 yellows in one match will always result in a red card and a one match ban. Serves the fool right for wanting to show off what appears to be a pretty shit physique compared to most professional footballers. Charlie Adam apart.

Long way to go and it is "The Germans" but, I've said a couple of times that Italy always cause them problems.

(shot of German lady looking distressed)

Commentator: Poor girl
Lawrenson: She might be rich.

FUCK OFF MARK LAWRENSON YOU TOTALLY UNFUNNY CUNT !!!

Having spent the last few weeks explaining to (seemingly) everyone who told me that Germany would win the tournament, this 1st half has gone a long way to vindicating my point..........that Germany are still a long way from matching Spain.

Had a little wager tonight on Balotelli to score at least two.

Very pleased with that 🙂

What a goal the second one was!!!

The winner tonight will win the Euros is my guess.

WARSAW, Poland -- UEFA fined the Russian and Spanish soccer associations a total of $62,000 on Thursday for racist abuse by their fans at European Championship matches.
UEFA said its disciplinary panel found both countries guilty of "improper conduct of its fans (racist behavior, racist chanting)."
Russia was fined $37,000 and Spain must pay $25,000.
Russian fans made monkey noises at Czech Republic defender Theodor Gebre Selassie and Spain fans targeted abuse at Italy forward Mario Balotelli. Both players are black.
The Russian sanction does not activate UEFA's threat of a six-point penalty in Euro 2016 qualifying after some fans attacked stadium stewards in Wroclaw following the Czech match on June 8.
Spain's fine was the minimum that must be enforced for a racism charge under UEFA's disciplinary rules.
In an earlier racism case, UEFA fined the Croatia soccer association $100,000 for a range of charges including monkey noises directed at Balotelli.
UEFA pledged a zero-tolerance policy toward racism and discrimination inside Euro 2012 stadiums, and appointed experts in fan culture from the European supporters' network, FARE, to identify potential offenses.
Russia has been fined $267,000 by UEFA after being charged over its fans' conduct at all three of its group-stage matches in Poland.
