Hopefully by this evening's end there will be a bandwagon for all you wannabe paddies to jump on but personally I am not exactly confident.
I think the current Irish team has exceeded expectations by getting this far already and going to the Word Cup is probably a bridge too far.
Despite all their woes the French team have a mixture of excellent and world class players and if the preform to any sort of a decent level then they should go through fairly comfortably.

That said, as the old cliche goes, "it's a funny old game" and the longer we stay in the tie, preferably with our noses in front, then the greater the chance that the current disharmony among the French might just reveal a soft underbelly and end up being there undoing. fingers crossed smiley

You will identify them if there is a bandwagon to jump on. 😉
ie. obviously not you SG.

I wish SSN would stop going on about their great "team spirit". It's the type of thing Mick McCarthy always goes on about, before getting relegated.

I'm not too confident either. All things being equal, they'll beat us.

As long as they have to produce their best to beat us though, I won't be disappointed.

You'll be disappointed if Eire's best player scores though

Which is a bit strange

I won't, but I think it's a bit much to expect Given to get amongst the goals.

Richard Dunne.

The French back 4 are all on yellow cards. That could be excellent news for us.

Rosco, give it up mate.
You brits are going to enjoy the result either way.
Not many French lads on here for you to be smug with afterwards though!

COME ON IRELAND! Smash them fuckers!
Good luck lads. I hope yous can join us in South Africa.

COME ON YOU BOYS IN GREEN!!

RTE reporting Domenench and Henry had another bust in Dublin yesterday.
I hope we fucking twat them.

As expected really.

It's nice to have McGeady ready to come on if needed

Thought McGeady would have got the nod tonight, Lawerence is in good form though.
