Interesting Young Players

Just finished watching it.
Seems like a Momo Sissoko clone, to be honest.
Big, strong, quick and not afraid to make a tackle.
I can't complain about his defensive attributes, but his game is very simple. Win the ball and give it to the closest teammate.
I saw some ball progression too, but seemed a bit clumsy and spontaneous. Kinda like when Sissoko went on a run, got past one or two players, but would ultimately fall and get a freekick or just misplace the pass or over hit it.

My honest opinion, solely based on that highlight reel, is that he's not really Liverpool material right now. I'd love to see an entire game, just to see how he positions himself off the ball and other aspects of his game, but I don't really follow the French league.

Anyway, the problem with having a "Sissoko" type player is that while you might be strong in defence, you're sort of playing with one man less in attack.
That's what made Fabs so good, his playmaking abilities in addition to his defensive abilities. His shooting wasn't that bad either.
Don't let last season fool you, Fabs at his best was a world class defensive mid and it's going to be very troublesome to replace him.
We are going one clip, but I'd say this kid has much higher cieling
Here's another. This kid is stilll 19 until Aug.

Got a great name, how'd you hear about him?

These are the type of players Brighton already have in their top 5 scouting list, whilst we haven't the first fucking clue about him.

Honestly... I look at where we fish for players in the past then go through each teams MFs, look at their profile and WhoScored rating. Back at the start of last season, one of the names I mentioned was Mohammed Camara who later went to Monaco for only £13m. What you now need is @Kingbinny to give you his Sqwaka figures.
BTW Our best option for a CDM remains Alvarez, price, profile etc...

I see, I tend to look back through history and pick out the clubs who have the best academies and specialise in feeding players through to play at high levels....so your Lyon's Ajax's Sporting's Dinamo's Shakhtar's Anderletch's Inter's etc of this world.

Not sure I could take much more of KB's posts tbh, end up being mesmerised by everything and getting unnecessary hard ons for what we could have yet probably won't have, when I'd rather just be a gloomy, miserable bastard, it's my forte.

I do agree Alvaraz would be an interesting option, profile wise, value wise and having seen the bits I have from the WC and when we faced Ajax.

Oliver Antman. 21 year old Finnish player currently playing in the Danish league before having a short stint on loan in the Dutch league, probably the next big thing to come out of Finnish football.

He’s the superhero we need.

Simon Adingra looks to be another in the long list of talented gems Brighton have found.

Scored a peach of a goal against Brentford just now.

Ernest Nuamah. Might have been mentioned already in this thread, but what a talent.

Might have, @King Binny might have?

To paraphrase the great Muhammad Ali, Even if you dream that you might across a young talented player which King Binny has not mentioned previously, you better wake up and apologize.

Nordsjaelland's scouting/recruitment team have been doing a good job. Interesting to see if he will fetch them a higher transfer fee than Schjelderup did when he moved to Benfica.

Gustav Isaksen seems promising too.

Great post Binny.

Ernest Nuamah looks extremely promising. I’d defo still want us to sign Kudus (really love him as a player) now with Ajax, but I think Isaksen is too light-weight at this point.

Aral Simsir from FCM (same club as Isaksen) is one of the most promising prospects in the Danish league alongside Ernest, Diomande (both FC Nordsjælland), Clem, Jelert, Roony (FC Copenhagen) and Slotsager (17yo defender from OB).

Simsir reminds me of the driblers/10s of “old” like Del Piero, Figo etc. Such a joy to watch.

Simsir skills from yesterday (had Isaksen bagged that it could’ve been a goal-of-the-season contender due to Simsir’s setup;

PS Diomande, 21, Cpt at FC Nordsjælland, gives me strong Wijnaldum-vibes in central midfield.

Ibrahim Osman, an 18-year-old striker from Ghana, just scored for them against AGF. He looks blistering fast. Their scouting works a treat (and it probably helps that Michael Essien is a part of their coaching-setup).
