The Intriguing Finances Surrounding $66 Million Takefusa Kubo—Tracked By Real Madrid
[article]A creative spark with excellent close control in possession, Kubo’s whereabouts are worth tracking. And the money surrounding the playmaker, whom Sociedad values at €60 million ($66 million), is particularly compelling as it hands both his current team and Real a tricky decision when the transfer window opens, likely on July 1.

Though he often lacks the numbers to complement his skills, Kubo has notched a career-best seven goals and five assists in 27 league games this campaign. With him struggling to impress at Mallorca, Villarreal and Getafe on loan, Real had been content to keep him on the books before his moderate €6.5 million ($7 million) switch to San Sebastián, a deal incentivized by Real earning a healthy portion of any future resale to another club, assuming his stock continues to rise.

It has this term. And were Sociedad to sell him for anything over €4 million ($4.5 million) this summer, Real would recoup 50% of the transfer, as forwarded by El Diario Vasco (Spanish). So, although the €60 million ($66 million) valuation may be a negotiating ploy, such a figure would leave Los Blancos with a convenient €30 million ($33 million) minus the €4 million ($4.5 million) for Sociedad—meaning he could earn them good money.[/article]

Min-jae's progress at Fenerbahce and Napoli + Celtic's success with the Asian market + Asian players in La Liga and German Bundesliga (Kubo, Lee, Kamada etc.) contributing to clubs exploring Asian market not just for commercial reasons (like the Arsenal ones: Asano, Inamoto, Chu-Young, Miyaichi 😛)

We need to get him 192cm of human flesh, thats what we need. Please do it Klopp

A good to great WorldCup and he’ll be priced in the +£50M bracket.

Let’s just buy Jesper Lindstrøm, 21, now.

Faster than Mané, from my town, a lifelong Red a good lad and is like a Nordic McMannaman-type.

Also, Kicker hands out around ten “1”-ratings a year, Lindstrøm has already got two to his name this Season.

Seasoned non-Danish Bundesliga reporter on Lindstrøm’s performance last night; perhaps the best individual performance he had ever witnessed in the Bundesliga. He’s hyped so I dont know about that but he does look other-worldly at the moment.

Lindstrøm’s goal from a few weeks back is an absolute masterclass (lots of his goals are but this one OMG).

From around 7:15

With Alexis, isn't Gabri a similar type of player? unless klopps looking for a lot of depth and rebuilding the entire engine room

Yeah - Veiga is 4 years younger though + this is his1st full season as a regular at top flight football & Mac Allister is pretty all rounded. Still don't think we'll move for him though, probably is/was an option

He has a €40 million release clause. Oh you bet we're interested. We can sniff out a bargain like an Asian in a fish market.

He looks and plays like Mesut Özil, who has apparently been whispering in his ear about the Premier League. God knows if that's good or bad news for us, in terms of a potential signing
