Besides Odegaard and now Calafiori, Arsenal haven't lost a single first team player to injury for longer than a week.

I've been enjoying winding up a lot of Arsenal fans around them being the only team in the top 6/8 who fielded their full strongest fir
st XI at the weekend.

“Jota is still the same as Federico, who is coming back into the session after one exercise today,” Slot said at a press conference on Friday, as quoted by Liverpool Echo.

“All expected back in a few weeks, but the last part of recovery is always the hardest, so let’s wait and see.”

Put a bounty out on that stupid fucking little cunts head, must not be allowed to leave the City until he’s found, dead or alive - I don’t really care which!!!!!!!

I still don’t understand why we only used 3 of 5 subs and left Grav and both of VVD and Konate on for 95 mins.

This is really shit news.

Easy to say that now though isn't it?

Clearly this is all on Arne and he hasn't a fucking clue what he's doing otherwise he'd have foreseen this coming 10-15mins before it did and have done something about it.

This is frustrating for us all but let's not sit and pretend subbing off CB's after 70-80mins to pre-empt an injury is a regularity in football.

Yeah, it was literally the last action of the game. Shame Endrick didn't do it a few minutes earlier then one of our lads could have nailed the little fucker.
I remember Thierry Henry doing this to Sami one time in stoppage time and then spending the last few minutes of the game drifting into positions where he wouldn't receive the ball because Carragher had made it quite clear he was going to nail him at the first opportunity.
Not that Carragher would have got near him mind, he never did.

There was always going to be a point where Konate would be signed off with a some injury. We all knew this, and if we knew it, then so should the club. Quansah has to take his chance, and iron out mistakes

I said it during the game!

yea you were

surely we have a cotton wool list that involves jota, konate, jones, gomez etc
Exactly, we've done it before. So I was surprised to see Slot leave everyone on.
The game was dead and buried after Gakpo's goal. I was expecting Bradley to come off for Trent.

This was a bit of freak incident, no? We'll be ok, and Konate will be super fresh for the Jan-Feb period when we normally start to show wear and tear. Disappointing, but highlights our lack of decent coverage in this area. And not entirely surprising.
