I have never heard of him until we were linked with him.

As I said in another thread: He's 28, playing in Belgium, and available on a free. Sounds fucking muck.

Still, his goals per game ratio for Liege is decent, so who knows.

Good on you Steven.

Exactly. This is what we need more of from our captain. Rubbish the rumours. Express your commitment to the cause.

Elisha Scott on YNWA said this is all bullshit.
Practically everything I've ever heard from Elisha Scott has turned out to be bollocks. Weren't DIC signed, sealed and delivered according to him?
No they weren't but it was taken that way, he posted what he was told but clearly from a different source and due to his previous excellent record was given all sorts. He hasn't posted much since I think. One of the most accurate insiders LFC has had prior to that.
He called the Keane deal very very early.
He called Crouch and Babel very early, that i can recall.

The credibility of some of our ex-players in the Media must be at an all-time low. Especially those ones who put their names to that story of a 'bust-up'.
Who did?
Didn't Danny Murphy do it.

Seconded!

Sunny, I must say that your posts as of late have been making lots of sense 😉

"Captain Marvell" Bryan Robson... wheeled out right at the end to get just enough games for a league medal.
Your post wil be missed in all this confusion, but you're absolutely on the money.

Man Ure fans of a certain age will wax lyrically about Bryan Robson... best player they've ever seen.

Personally I thought he was way overratred, but he stuck with them through their "troubled" years and yes.... he got his just rewards at the end.

Part of me has always believed that Gerrard will win the Premiership Medal in his last season.

Oh... and it shoud be noted that he's been gash this season. I can'r think of a single game where he's been outstanding and I expect more than that from him,as someone conmsidered one of the best players in the world.

He called his production manager, Paul, to recall those appalling shawls from Porthcawl, early, I recall.

I saw Robson play live once or twice in his early days at West Brom, before he even went to ManUre, and he was quality even then - tough, brave and skilful. Sorry but there's no way he was overrated.

As far as Stevie G goes, IMO a lot depends on his fitness. With his ability and versatility he could play on for years yet, maybe moving into the back four in time. I'm not giving up on him lifting the trophy before his last season.
