Anyone in the side that you just don't like?

I'm not talking about the likes of Dossena, Lucas, whomever, that plenty of posters and fans have something against. I'm looking for established, big name players, that for whatever reason - you just can't bring yourself to like...

Mascherano's that man for me. He fucks me off royally. Spare me the "he does x, y, and z for the team" chat, because I know, I know all about it. I just don't like him. Everytime he pulls that leg back to shoot I wince. I can't stand his constant petty, faux-sarcastic whinges with the referees. I don't like seeing him on the ball, and watching him lose his man when he's supposed to be tracking back fucking kills me.

Completely irrational I know, but I'm not a fan.

Who gets on your tits?

Gerrard, yes he's the heartbeat of the team and extremly talented, but the man has the swagger of a cunt. He also has a hero complex. If we're drawing from about the 75th min he just twats it at goal rather than playing football. I know this has worked for us in the past but he often overlooks better passes at this stage.

To what levels of dislike Neil?

Mascherano could fire a 30 yard screamer into the top corner, and I'd quickly look to see who gave him the assist so I coul lavish all the praise elsewhere.

Babel.. his complete lack of effort drives me crazy.

To see someone so talented fail because of his attitude is pretty frustrating.

Ditto.

My daughter met him in a club in London after the match on Saturday (she didn't know who he was at first, she's not a big football fan but supports LFC of course !). Other players there were laughing about how he has got a reprieve from Rafa with the international break coming up.

Dunno to be honest - I mean, I think he's a very good defender and has a bright future, I just don't like him.

Dear oh dear. I bet this gimp loves Lucas.

If only Stevie had 'played football' on Saturday instead of twatting one into the top corner.

I'm gonna get panned for this but I don't like Carragher.
As a player he is very good, not great, but very good.
I respect his career and what he has achieved.

He has come out and said things in the past that have made me cringe.
Stupid fucking nonsense about how we should just try to secure forth place and be happy with our lot a few years ago. I believe the Aston Villa fans have a banner with a quote from this interview and they roll it out whenever we come to town. Everytime I hear his fucking girly scream on the pitch it kind of makes my toes curl. But the nail in the coffin was when he went berserk at Arbeloa last year at WBA. He was bang out of order that day.

It may be easy to criticise him now as performances are on the wane, but to be honest I never really took to him.

HEY, WELCOME TO THE SITE!

Hope you enjoy posting here, we're not all meanies. Good luck!

It's actually Carra for me.

It's his 'i'm liverpool's most loyal son' attitude that irritates me. You only need to read his book once to get that feeling. But he did play like he believed it in the past. But now that his performance has taken a nose dive.......

I should add that I'm not Fernando Torres biggest fan ever either.
[/quote]

I can see why people would have that opinion.

carra - he is overrated, his hoof ball pisses me off, his constant screaming at his teammates isn't leadership its undermining and i'm sure they all mutter dickhead to him.

degen, dossena, lucas, voronin, babel and every reserve keeper we've ever signed. - 30 million pounds of shit right there

masch - yea he may look good in a team of messi's where you need that defensive bite but in ours, especially in the league i think he's far too limited and his back chat is infuriating

dirk - hard work only gets you so far, really limited footballer and has done well to get to this level.

yossi - 9 times out of 10 he will take that extra touch

I'm indifferent to masher he does his job competantly enough. As for yossi I don't hate him but I hate the way he holds onto the ball to tell the truth I hate the way the entire team (obviously ith a few exceptions) holds onto the ball, utterly utterly infuriating. you have teams that are content with a point so are going to flood the midfield usually the only way around or through them is quick interchanges, give and goes that their rigid formation can't adapt to in time, they lick their fucking LIPS when they see players take one touch to control another to get the ball out of their feet and then another to pass meaning they can stay compact and solid.

yossi the KING of this (holding onto the ball too long), he simply has no fucking idea that the ball moves faster than he does in his utterly clueless attempt to take on three players (usually one too many) and it winds me up that he lauded for these headless runs when you only have to look at johnson who uses his pace and power to skip past ONE player to gain a yard of space and then its a pass to a man in space or a pass into a danger area.

no I don't hate yossi but he winds me the fuck up. rieira is less of a goal threat but he knows how to use the ball and he makes us play in a more effective manner.

Fucking hell, we've had all our key players in here and the only one missing to take the biscuit is Reina - So I'll go for him.

Back to reality, the obvious for me:

Kuyt* for running around doing fuck all, but scoring the odd goal so buying everyone's love.
Babel for doing fuck all but being full of potential.

Can I have a couple of oldies?

Alonso* for pinging the ball about but not offering much else.
And Luis Garcia* for being the most inconsistent motherfucker I have ever seen.

* - Your goals were much appreciated though chaps, thank you very much.

At this rate, everyone will not be a fan of at least one player, meaning every Liverpool player will be subject to feelings of being un-loved by at least one forumer here!

So we all are Liverpool FC fans first and foremost?

I'm going to add skrtel who still (STILL!) has no clue that he should position himslef in FRONT of an attacker when a cross comes in.

fuck it, just one more and I'm done;

gerrard should trust his teams mates more, if we are struggling he should hold his position and wait for the ball to come to him, yes yes, he is captain fantastic blah blah but he is no longer a midfielder and should stop acting like one, it leaves torres horrible isolated making it a piece of fucking piece to mark him out of the game

seriously after the game where gerrard gave away a penalty, if carra had looked him in the eye and said 'what the FUCK were you doing in our penalty area?' what would have been his defense?

I'm of the opinion that he should trust his teammates less.

Seriously like, fucking squaring it to Voronin when he's standing 10 yards from goal. He'd be better off giving it to Bubba, the two-legged amputee from Forrest Gump.
