(which sadly looks inevitable now) and we fall short in the League by 1-3 points and finish on 95 or 97 which I think we're likely to finish on with City on 98, is anybody worried about the knock on effect for next season...League wise? (CL usually takes care of itself)

To finish on that amount of points and not win it, especially at Liverpool where the desperation to win the League is everywhere, would surely be so fuckin soul destroying that I'd worry how Klopp and the players would react?

I mean, don't get me wrong, we're much better placed to kick on next season again after a Title Challenge - Unlike in 09-10 & 14-15. No issues with the owners/best players leaving etc.
Even still though, it wouldn't be easy to get over.

Doom merchants..

Locking this thread.. season ain't over.. it's still all to play for...

It will be reopened if/ when it becomes all not to play for..

We will be 2 points clear again with a win at Cardiff..

City have 3 Away games and 1 home game left... After Cardiff.. we will have 2 home games and 1 away game left
