are bypassed time and time again with consumate ease.
I could understand it if they continually going forwards to help the attacks, the the truth they offer next to nothing in attack so how the fuck are teams going pass them like they aren't there?

because only one was playing the other was having a walk on the park as usual .lucas will cost us more than the 5 million we payed for him .
 
also how many fucking times do they give the ball away. seriously, how many FUCKING TIMES. flame me I don't give a shit but I don't rate either of them. neither were/are fit lace alonso' boot laces.

Well hard to say that until he is actually fit, and if he's the catalyst we need to transform the season, which is still possible, still early days in terms of hte league, and very possible to qualify in the CL.
He'd want to start playing games very soon and have an impact of Torres porportions though.
 
Mascher actually had a good game.. making tackles all over the place.. sure he gave away the ball a few times with over-ambitious long passes, but then there was hardly a plethora of options around him and in space. Partly due to fact that we're very static (and slow), and partly due to the fact that some of the players are just plain average.

Lucas, on the other hand, is actually a poor defensive midfielder. If he were alongside Zidane and Kaka, i'd worry we'd still get exposed. Slow, weak, can't tackle, not a great reader of the game and not aggressive enough. In fact, he's pretty much poor-to-average at the things you want out of a defensive midfield player. The only thing i'll give him is that he's a "willing worker".

Whilst I genuinely think you are too quick to judge players and label them (i.e. Yossi/Casper), fair play, you were right about Lucas all along.

And what's worse is the thought that Rage could be be right about Rafa.. too many average lovechilds in our side costing us big time.. and too many average players (period) bloating our squad.

well he's certainly not an attacking midfielder. I swear before each game someone spins him around really fast three times so he has no clue where our goals is and no clue where the opposition goal is.
