I thought MarkMc lost all his insider knowledge after Carra left?

Surely any news will be 3rd or 4th hand before Mark gets it now?

No idea who this clown is, but hopefully this is the start of something and he ain't just a bullshitter.

This guy has constantly been saying all summer that the move would never happen, I know the blue tick means next to nothing, but maybe he has heard something to change his mind.

This ^^^^ Heard it the same on the fly. i'm no ITK but telling it like I hear it. Same for VVD by the way. Don't shoot a brother. 🙂

Nice, not doubting you, but it's strange the club would push forward on two massive deals at the same time, you'd have thought they would have been one after the other, twitter is definitely noisy tonight though.

Mark mc said that he only trusts that Chris fella on this whole transfer business. That should be an okay reference. 🙂

A mate from the PA told me this arvo - He's a good lad but probably just got it from twitter. As I said just telling it like I heard it.

Kin hell , I could quite literally say the same thing. Funny how these alternate line of events don't come out until after the press prints an article earlier today ... no ammunition for the BS cannon me thinks

lol the papers are all saying we've had a £57m offer rejected.

When this puppy came to life a few weeks back wasn't it always €80m or swivel? So £70M required .. so we offer £57m probably with some whack-ass instalment plan . There's obviously nothing wrong with low balling but there's low balling and there's shaving a fifth off the price !

Is this the final proof that my percentages wipe the fucking floor with @Ryan 's? No it's not. It should have been obvious a long time ago.

When the news of our interest first came out it was that it would take £50m to sign him. That was speculative I suppose, and so has everything that has followed.

Seems as though it will take a bid or offer in the region of a Bundesliga record for them to accept.
Maybe that makes it easier to explain to their fans afterwards.

Didn't the press all carry that The CEO or whoever had said the need a fee of around £70m ,which would break the league record. Go back in time 10 pages or so there was plenty of chat about it

Oh, ok. The coach said during the season that it would take a bid as big as the Pogba deal.

£57m bid rejected according to Reddy who's apparently reliable. Bild reporting similar. Kieta wants out.

One of two things will happen. We will drag the fucking arse out of this and either a) we will finally get him when we offer their asking price OR b) somebody else will breeze in and meet their asking price whilst we are still low-balling and sign him from under our noses. Take your pick.

The 22-year-old wants to link up with Jurgen Klopp, with the Reds prepared to make him one of the biggest signings in Premier League history

Naby Keita is expected to respectfully reiterate his desire to leave RB Leipzig for Liverpool as the determination to get a deal over the line is strengthened.
LFC's 15 best signings of all time
The Reds have had an opening offer of £57 million rebuffed for their priority target as the Bundesliga side once again affirmed the midfielder is not for sale.

News of the development broke via Bild on Thursday night, but it is understood the bid was submitted days in advance of the 22-year-old reporting back for pre-season training.
Jurgen Klopp had alluded to the proposal last week when he highlighted the need for patience in the transfer window and said “even if you cannot see it, you can imagine we’ve done a lot behind the scenes.”
Klopp not nervous over transfers
The response Liverpool received to their formal approach wasn’t that Keita isn’t for sale at that price - comfortably a club record fee for the Merseysiders - but that he is not on the market at all.

Leipzig’s sporting director Ralf Rangnick has been consistent with this message, stating not even a three-figure sum could convince them to let the Guinea international depart.
However, sources in Germany reveal his stance is not fully supported within the club and there is growing pressure to make a smart business decision.
Their hardline approach therefore seems to be slowly eroding privately, and Keita is due to hold further talks to plead for the kind of ambitious move he has worked towards since leaving Guinea for France as a teenager.
Unique Keita worth record fee
Liverpool will submit an improved package when they are given indications that Leipzig are willing to have dialogue over a fee.

The Reds are prepared to make Keita one of the biggest signings in Premier League history with Klopp believing the player's rare, all-round attributes will elevate his dynamic blueprint.
