Spot on RE involvement in build-up. (Firmino track back) Gini > Ox > Salah > Mane for the 2nd goal

[article]During the first half here, Gini Wijnaldum wasn't exposed in his makeshift role as the holding midfielder.

That was primarily because Liverpool were pushed back so deep, half the team was seemingly playing in the role.

After the interval, though, as the Reds improved, so Wijnaldum began to grow in confidence.

And how. Jurgen Klopp had no hesitation turning to the Dutchman and it was justified completely in his showing in the second 45 minutes.

If Jordan Henderson was a big miss as City pressed before the break, Wijnaldum made sure the absence wasn't so keenly felt afterwards, his efforts allowing Liverpool to grasp control and capitalise on the home side tiring and becoming frustrated.

To be fair, wijnaldum played the hendo role brilliant. Sideways and unadventurous

Whereas Henderson and ox were just incredible

All three were excellent today. Nice to see Henderson given licence.

Indeed they did, none of them are perfect but all three of em are good quality players...

I noticed again Hendo barking at his team mates... I like to see that too...
