Hull Match Thread

Rodgers out!! On a more serious note, hope we sell Agger come Jan, this is just waisting talent. Rodgers does my head in, and I don't like both Sterling and Moses ahead of Allen either. Another counter attacking peformance at home? Hope seriously not. Not happy, good to see Ryan and Ross are though, good lads.
Home?

We'll play on the counter again. It might work, but where's the Rodgers that talked about pass and play?

Hopefully Moses and Sterling can use the gaps behind the Hull wing backs; they're going 3-5-2 it seems. Well, unless Bruce is playing a flat back five to keep the gates firmly shut....

Cant edit nor reply from my iPhone. Thought we were playing at home, my mistake.

I think Rodgers has realised we don't have the quality to play his way, with the expectation on his shoulders

I have no problem with counter attacking football

A match thread isn't the place for this but anyway, I think it's more that he is being pragmatic, the league is shite this year, so if we can win with a more pragmatic, flat track bully style more often, & try to progress possession football later, then it may well pay dividends by propelling us up the league.

Nah, he's realised the amount of possession you have doesn't matter in the slightest

It's like they think there's a Field of Dreams thing going on if they step over the half-way line. Aimless stuff.

Sterling unlucky there, great pass to Suarez at the front post & he'd changed his mind & gone to the back post.

Suarez poor in possession so far. Possibly a hangover from last week's exertions.

Beautiful skill by Henderson bringing that ball down to Suarez, shame he couldn't power past his man to get the return pass.

Very scrappy so far.

We need to stop forcing it all the time and just try get a few passes going and force Hull back.

Suarez is getting very frustrated already ... Going to be a long day, especially as that kills his decision making abilities (3 on 3 with Henderson nad Sterling and he passes quick)
