It's gonna be open as fuck if both sides play the way they usually do.

Personally I think we may see Klopp go the other way & concentrate on keeping us tight like at the end of last season now, & this would be the ideal game to do it as Huddersfield struggle against pace so we'll keep them stretched at the other end easily.

Salah should have a field day, & I wouldnt be surprised if we see Moreno line up for this with his pace down the wing in mind.

That said, they put decent balls in the box & their forwards have found some confidence, hence me thinking it could be very open & end to end action.

Team?

Arseface.
TAA. Gomez. Matip. Robertson.
Ox. Hendo.
Salah. Cuntinho. Wijnaldum.
Solanke.

For-me-no is in my fantasy team but I'd rather exclude him.

That striker they have has danger written all over him.

Not sure that will be the team, but I do suspect that Klopp will jettison his 'collective responsibility/ we are all responsible' horse-shit and make a LOT of knee-jerk reactionary changes, so I would not be at all surprised to see some of the following start:

Chamberpot
Gomez at CB
Robertson
Maybe even the German clown in goal
Sturridge
Solanke

Can't see Lovren being in the team, but who fucking knows with Klopp?

Would be harsh to drop Moreno, as he was the only defender who was OK against Spurs

If the game against manure is anything to go by they are going to sit back and keep it tight. They only had 29% possession against manure.

See i'm thinking the opposite. I don't see him being knee-jerk at all.

mignolet, moreno, matip, gomez, TAA, hendo, wijnaldum, can, coutinho, firmino, salah.

That's not the team i would pick personally as i think Grujic deserves a chance.

I'm a bit conflicted. I sort of want him to show some conviction in the players he has bought, selected and shown faith in, and not simply react to the intense scrutiny and pressure that Spurs shitshow has generated. That's what desperate, about to be sacked managers do, when they're just trying fucking ANYTHING.

On the other hand, keeping faith with the likes of Lovren, Mignolet, Firmino et al would seem to be an act of insanity

Here's my guess at the team:

Karius

TAA---Gomez-----Matip-----Moreno

Can-----Henderson

Coutinho

Salah-----Firmino------Oxlade

Something like that maybe. Although Wijnaldum may feature in midfield somewhere

This is what I wanna see

-----------------Karius-----------------
------Gomez--Matip--Klavan------- (klavan because no other CBs after Lovren is removed...)
TAA------------------------------Moreno
-------------Can---Hendo---------------
Salah--------Firmino--------Coutinho

I expect to see:

--------------Mignolet------------------
TAA---Gomez---Matip---Moreno
---------Can------Hendo------------
Salah------Wijnaldum----Coutinho (or Ox if Gini is unfit)
--------------Firmino-----------------

I would rather have Lovren remain in the side than that fucking lower league whopper Klavan coming in.

Yeah - i mean i'm torn. Klavan has looked pedestrian at times, but i just think a back 3 is a must for us to restore some confidence.

We'll win but I'm struggling to give a shit if I'm being honest. We'll beat Maribor too but this team will inevitably fold again before long.

Yeah, but when they got the ball they attacked in numbers, despite the possession stats they created a lot of chances, hence why I think it could be end to end.

Can needs bombing out as he’s been dire for weeks.

Anyway it’s a day of sport for me. Cunts vs spuds, our game, Bournemouth vs Chavs then the boxing.

Klopp isnt under pressure is he?

Or is he? this has dropped points written all over it. At least its a home match so Gini will bother to turn up

We'll win 3-1.

There must be changes or else what was the point of Klopp's post-match depressive 'melt-down' of sorts ? He said he'll assess them during training but I expect to see Lovren, Milner and Can dropped.

Don't need Klavan when we'll dominate possession and don't want to be caught out for pace. That back 4 is pretty damn pacey. Wijnaldum must come back in and Ox deserves a start.

------------------Mignolet------------------

TAA-------Gomez---Matip---Moreno

----------Hendo------Wijnaldum

-----------------Coutinho

Salah---------Firmino-------------Ox

I'd like to see Moreno on the wing to give us some pace, width and attacking threat down the left in Mane's absence. Him and Robertson overlapping could be interesting.

Wagner's Klopp's best friend and sets his team up to play similarly like Klopp too.

So expect gegenpressing vs gegenpressing and possibly lots of goals.

Wagner’s ideal football philosophy is similar to Klopp’s but that’s not what he’s been doing. His team sits deep against strong teams, trying to nick goals from set plays and the odd counter attacks.

This will be super tough, no doubt about it.

Hopefully Salah can produce some magic.

What a fucking signing this lad has been.

Crucial already.

None of Mignolet Lovren Can Henderson or Firmino should start simply becuase they have all been phoning it in for at least 2 months. We cant keep rewarding terrible halfhearted performances because we are afraid to make changes. Shame Ward is injured as this might have been his best opportunity

Karius
TAA Gomez Matip Robertson
Milner Wjinaldum Coutinho
Ox Solanke Salah

---------------Ming-----------------
TAA-----Gomez--Matip----Moreno
--------------Henderson------------
--------Grujic---------Milner--------
Salah-------Solanke------Coutinho
