I think 50 million would be the minimum, but at that price its hard to see where he could go there are only a handful of clubs that could afford that fee and out of the them
Man Utd - would never touch him in a million years after the Evra incident
Man City - unlikely considering the baggage they have had with Balotelli and Tevez, they wont be in a rush to repeat that with another controversy magnet
Chelsea - possibly but the recent incident may have soured them towards him
Juve - Not sure they could afford him, or any Italian club for that matter
Real - Possible but would he fit in with their marketing machine
Barca - Just don't think he would fit there, its a very homogenous group and the Zlatan experiment failed because he was too much of an individual to fit in with the club culture
Bayern - possible but they are well stocked (assuming the Lendowski rumours are true) and he doesnt seem like the sort of player Guardiola would want to work with

which basically leaves PSG who have the money and the ambition, have been linked in the past

But he has a very narrow field of potential suitors

I think PSG are the most likely although I dont think Madrid would have any problem taking him.

Is anyone gonna pay shitloads for someone who misses a quarter of games because of suspension?

He's a fucking dope. If he wasn't such a massive weapon he'd be worth 60 or 70 million quid, but you can probably half that on the basis that he might get your football club shut down by the feds.

Im not sure they would consider him worth the investment, they famously pay a premium for players that they can build a brand around like Ronaldo Beckham etc for 50 or 60 million they would want a marquee figure like that who can increase their gigantic revenue streams, Suarez is not that player. They would take him but only for about half the price we would be looking at

They can have him for 30m plus Higuain.

Like Ibrahimovic, you mean? I doubt another English club would take Suarez if he were for sale, but there'd be plenty of takers in Europe. Nothing builds a brand like success and any team's chances of achieving that would increase with Suarez in their squad, baggage or no baggage.

Ibrahimovic never played for Real Madrid.

Madrid already have their brand, what they need are faces to keep flogging it, Suarez is not one of them. As I said no doubt they would take him but not for the prices quoted in this thread

So he's being driven out of the English game but we might sell him to another English club? I give up.

Sad thing is, if he joined United, he'd be exactly the same, if not worse, yet nothing would happen to him and all the pundits would praise the mighty lord Alex for how well he's handled and tamed Suarez's bad side.

You were referring to PSG above, not to Real, and so was I.

As far as price goes, if we sold him tomorrow you might well be right. We won't though, so I don't think you will be.

I was talking about Madrid although I can see how it was easy to confuse, I already said PSG would be his most likely destination as they are cash rich and trying to jump up a couple of notches pretty quickly so they cant be as picky as Real etc

Lewandowski and Reus and 20m for Suarez.

Higuain and 30m

Sanchez and 40m

Lavezzi and 40m

Thanks.

Sadly, this is indeed the case.

50M same as Torres, similar to that timing in his career / ability at those points.

Keep Carroll and then buy someone in for 20M & buy Eriksen and another CB.

Oops forgot.

Messi straight swap.
He's not going anywhere. But if we are playing this game then I reckon no one in Europe will pay what we want, so, ask him if he find life closer to home a bit more culturally comfortable. If he says yes then swap him for Neymar. A young lad with a girlfriend and baby boy, he'd love the get-togethers with the Coutinho and Leiva families.
Or else Messi and £5m sweetener(just in case Messi peaked already).

£40millish. Less baggage and he'd be worth more. Also, if he goes, whoever is buying will know that we are having to shift him on for one reason or another, so the price will be a little lower.

Im not in favour of selling him.
Hes still brilliant.
Hopefully the board arent sick of the cunt.
This. The only reason he'll be sold is if JH & co don't want him.

If he does have to go, it needs to be 50 million +. There's just no way we can replace him with anything less. Personally, I don't think we could replace him at all. We'd piss the 50 million away on a couple of fuckwits.

And if hes not into the whole settling down thing Raheem could take him to the worst barbers in the city to maintain his awful haircut and then the two of them could go out impregnating slappers

At £50m+, outside of England, there are probably 3 clubs that could afford him - Barca, Real & PSG - possibly one or two of the Russian clubs at a stretch.

Financial fair play might reduce this even further.

He might be worth £50m+, but if he decides to go, which is possible - then I reckon we'll do well to get something approaching £30m, with teams with less financial clout getting involved.

They might want to, but I doubt he'd go to any of them. If he does leave (and yes, it's possible, but I don't think it's as likely as the baying hounds of the media might like to think) he'll go to a big club, and we'll charge them a commensurately big fee.

If this is the case, then realistically if we are ever going to have to sell at some point then surely the best time is now due to FFP?

Id bring Carroll back to play with Sturridge possibly or buy someone like Jackson Martinez and use the money on a high class CB, LB & someone like Eriksen
