£10m for those 4 and hopefully £14m for Aquilani. If NESV give Kenny and extra £25m to spend in the summer then that will give him about £50m to buy 2 wide players and a left back.

We need 2 wide players, a left back and a DM. If we get to spend only 25 million out of pocket, then we are going to have to be very creative (and hopefully lucky) in how we spend that money.
It's also not realistic expect all weakness to be addressed in just one transfer window i guess....so i'll take what we can get. Hopefully we will have better luck in the transfer window going forward..

FSG will be delighted with the january transfer window. The season was already more or less finished in terms of finishing top 4 and Torres insisting on a move was a massive massive stroke of fortune from their point of view.
An expensive highly saleable player, dissaffected and injury prone insists on a transfer for a very large fee.
ACES as far as FSG is concerned.
Now they were in a position where they could reduce the wage bill and not have to find any real net investment in January... perfect...
Now they could have been cunts but...then they showed how they are different from GnH...
What i liked is that they didnt baulk one bit at the large fee for Carroll, 35 fucking million!! And they went and paid it... bravo to them... expensive yes, ridiculously expensive even but the point is the value does matter paying that fee made the point quite clearly, if it is required and will definitely make the team better then these fellas do mean business.
I'm confident that there will be real important investment in the team in Summer, so far the haven't touched any war chest, i'm sure of it in fact, and next season if we continue walking with our helds held high we will be challenging again.
Its great to be an LFC fan right now it really is.
