Since he took over the Baggies they've gone unbeaten in seven games (DDDWDWW) and taken 13 points which puts them almost certainly safe with six games to go. Probably just one more victory will be enough.

Their record prior to him was LLLLLWLDL - 4 points from nine games

Yeah, if you're not arsed about winning too often or playing anything like good footy he's an ace manager.

Otherwise he's a cunt.

A good manager of limited players, unable to cope at the very top. There must have been thousands like him down through the years.

I couldn't care less what he was like before liverpool or after liverpool, while he was here he was fucking SHIT

That's what I was thinking. Just because a guy is great at running a good fish and chip shop, doesn't mean he can make a go of running a michelin starred restaurant.

Ah, that explains why Hodgson's appointment wasn't welcomed by Liverpool fans, seeing as LFC hasn't got any limited players and of course we are at the very top.

:🙂

Yeah, that was my thought too. Nothing against JJ since I think his post is pretty much right but there was more to it at Liverpool.

I think Hodgson is a pretty good manager and he's very, very good at getting clubs to punch above their weight.

Yeah but we're a fish & chip shop. Albeit a posh one with seats and real knives and forks.

This.

And I can't understand the aggressive responses to him as a person. He loved us and still has respect for us but the job was too big for him, won't be the first or the last manager to go to a big club and find this out.

I'm just glad that a Friend of Fergie doesn't manage our club anymore.

Of course, being top of the league would be ever-so-slightly better, but I don't wanna get greedy.

*gentle weeping*

It appears that he is good at helping teams avoid relegation. So much so that when he manages a team that is never threatened with relegation he has to turn them into one so he can later help them avoid it.

A somewhat silly post and unworthy of you. We've got a number of limited players, but a number of very good ones and ambition to reach the top, neither of which Roy could cope with. Our performance under Kenny puts the true quality of our squad into its proper perspective.

Roy Hodgson can fuck off.

From Poulsen and Konchesky, shite relegation fighting tactics to the bizarre, insulting and deluded press conferences and truly abysmal results, he was an absolute fucking disgrace.

Just out of interest Jules, what do our performances under Kenny say about the quality of our squad - or first team for that matter?

I'm happy for Roy. It didn't work out and he left but he has been nothing short of respectful to us since he left. I wish Torres could have been the same.

I wouldn't blame Roy for hating us but he hasn't said a word.

And he is proving yet again that he can get the best out of players who will give him their all.

I think it was very obviously alot of our lads didn't.

Hopefully this puts him in prime position for the Old Trafford job.

What a surprise.

He's still a cunt in my eyes...and always will be...unless he takes over at the Scum. :🙂

The result completes a memorable start to life at the Hawthorns for West Brom manager Roy Hodgson.

The former Liverpool boss inherited a club reeling from a run of 13 defeats in 19 games when he arrived on Valentine's day, but has since enjoyed an extended honeymoon period.

His side have now lost just twice in eleven games since he took charge, and have a top-10 finish firmly in their sights with one game to go. Few would have anticipated that scenario when he inherited the role following Roberto Di Matteo's departure.

he's a good manager for what he does, he just didnt fit in to the lfc philosophy, sqaure pegs round holes n all that

Agree with this part. Hodgson can fuck off, but many of the players need to look at themselves during this time. Unacceptable.

I want to say thank you hodgson for you were the catalyst to where we r today. It was during your tenure that g+h were forced to sell. It was your horrible tenure that he board sought for Kenny not someone like sven
