Here's to you... Jordan Henderson...

And there are people that should fuck off...

Seriously though, Wilder has done a great job. But if Wilder was named Pereira he wouldn't even be in the discussion. The English media bias towards English players and managers is very understandable, I mean they're English.
I don't have a problem with Hendo getting the award this season because like I've stated elsewhere there were no standouts imo.
I mean if he was given the award the season Salah got the scoring record it would have been outrageous.
So in that sense Wilder getting the award over Klopp is fucking unbelievable.
It's a clear case of voters fatigue. Tired of giving the same old peoole the same old praise so they desperately look for alternatives.

That's nonsense. Anyone getting that Sheffield United side into European contention in their first season back in the big league would come under consideration, and rightly so. Klopp had to win it but Wilder's fully earned his place in the reckoning.

Hendo's importance will never be appreciated, even on here. Just look at the games we've lost without him and how we've lost. Henderson is an exceptional leader and he's pure determination, he takes the team to another level, and I honestly don't believe we'd have won the league without him, his influence on the professional standards of this club are extreme and he's the perfect captain.

Maybe, but how did Pulis win manager of the year the year Pellegrini won the league and the league cup?

Pearce: “The top five: Henderson, De Bruyne, Rashford, Van Dijk and Mane. There were also votes cast for Alexander-Arnold, Alisson, Sterling, Wan-Bissaka, Aguero, Traoré, Ings, Grealish, Maddison and Evans.”

Seriously?!

Someone voted for Ings, Grealish, Maddison and Evans? Name and shame I say.

No Vardy is a bigger surprise.

That Lallana interview brings me back to Utd away last season when Henderson looked like the only one with urgency to win the game at 0-0 and was taken off and he was fuming.

In hindsight I wIsh we hadn’t taken him off.

Great interview.

"Without talent you are nothing. Without attitude you stay a talent forever."

Sums up our recruiting philosophy I imagine. Which is why it takes so long to bring in a player and so few make the cut.

For the same reason Wilder was entitled to a place in the running this year. Sometimes the award is given to the manager who's added the most value to his club.

Pulis is Welsh BTW. The idea that he'd get preference for an English award is just silly.

Completely agree. He probably deserves to be second.

I genuinely can’t imagine this might happen but do you think that mural will be vandalised? There’s twats everywhere I know but I doubt anyone from the City would... I seriously doubt a bluenose would deface it. Especially with the Children’s hospital link. I suppose the Trent One has lasted so you never know.
