There isn't really any media generated hype.
They're reporting Fifa are going to look at it.
What was Luis going to achieve by attempting to punch someone in front of thousands of people and a number of TV cameras? It's stupid, and if the repeated nature of his stupidity doesn't concern fans (who seem to want to ignore it - and somehow think that's common sense) then I'm not sure what I can say.
He's no use on the sidelines because of bans and we already know its a risk with him, one that doesn't seem to abate
This is my concern. In its entirity. IF he could do this weekly and get away with it then i wouldn't give a fuck, BUT its going to be reported, he's giving the authorities the opportunity to give him a ban.
And yes, it is also a media issue. Do we not think that referees are influenced by the media? These mind games fergie pulls work because it highlights an issue to a referee. There was a reason that suarez started winning us pens and it was because the "suarez is a diver" force was temporarily distracted by Bale diving for fun. If suarez is highlighted inthe press again for being a dirty divey cheater then of course he's going to start getting less decisions again.
I'd rather our players not get in to the situations where they make themselves an easy target. Keep your nose clean and everything will be fine. Play dirty and don't expect favours.
THAT is my concern, and THAT is why its being highlighted .
That was great, there's not enough violence in football. I really wish it was more like ice hockey with punch ups and stuff, and a few of those Benny Hill chases involving entire squads chasing referees.

Serie A stars Edinson Cavani, Walter Gargano, Alvaro Pereira and Arevalo Rios have had their return to Italy postponed due to an airplane malfunction.
The Uruguayans were away on international duty and expected back in the Peninsula this evening, but still haven’t left Chile after their World Cup qualifier.
It’s reported the players were kept on the plane for an hour on the runway before being told to leave because there was a fault with the engine.
They are now likely to fly out from Chile tomorrow morning, changing flights in Madrid to reach Rome and from there travelling on to their towns.
This is a big problem for Inter, Napoli and Palermo, who all have to play Serie A matches on Saturday.
Err --- why would it affect us at all? I assume Suarez wasnt plannng on flying home via Italy .... Unless ofcourse he was planning to bite, punch & shout racist abuse at Pope Francis (wouldn't out it past him as "he just does NOT learn")

To be fair, there's a United fan I know, and he's a right cunt.
I'm not sure what his defence will be this time

I'd love to,but the international break leaves us with too much time on our hands, (Yoof Teams aside), it'll be back to business as usual from tomorrow afternoon on.[It's the Vlad Challenge - this is going to run and run!]
