With 4 wins on the trott and making progress in CL and the very important league cup, are they back?

Just messing with you

He hadn't started a thread in about 13 minutes so he thought this would be a hilarious idea.

Never write them off..

But we lose our next two games and they win theirs, we will be looking over our shoulders once again...

I would've thought this thread would've been locked by now. It was created as a joke in response to another posting thread asking if anyone was supporting man utd during a league match.

Truth is - they are not a good team and even under Fergie - for most seasons bar a few they were not a good team as individual players go. It is just that the rest of the PL teams lacked any fight and willingness to challenge them properly on a consistent basis. I still cannot forgive our spice boys era - I always thought we had a better team but they (i.e. our LFC back then) just could not be arsed. Even though they are winning I don't think it is convincing enough.

It's a shame that Ferdinand is leaving in the summer. I was hoping he'd still be there causing problems and criticising the new management whilst getting a few games in the side which they then lost. Now we face having him as a pundit for the next 20+ years. Is lightning going to strike twice and have us surprisingly liking him as (many of) us do with Gary Neville?

There is no reason why we should not like him if he turns out to be a good pundit like Gary Neville. What Mr. Neville has shown in many ways - is why people like him have won so many PL titles as a player. Sometimes when I see Jamie on Sky - I think to myself - what the f*ck did you win for us ? - oh yeah 'The Spice Boys' title. It is hard to stomach when you see the likes of Fowler, Jamie, McMoneyMan, Owen, in that studio sitting to some of the 70's/80's LFC legends who won us so many titles.

Mr Neville? Mr Fucking Neville? Fuck off.

They've spawned some wins against bang average teams, which is annoying as if they'd have dropped points; the knives would have been out big time. Plus they are a bit too close for comfort now. Hopefully they will fall away after Jan. I think them and Spurs offer the best candidates to drop out of top 4 territory.

So despite having their worst start in years, they're now only two points behind us. Gulp.

The cunts have just played norwich, west ham, hull, villa, stoke and shaktar - And people are wondering why they've got 6 wins?! And at least a couple of those games they got lucky. They got hammered the first half today vs norwich but norwich just couldn't put the ball in the net.
Before that, they played everton, newcastle and spurs and got ONE point.
They've not got any more months like they had in december left, they've got tough games 1,2 or 3 times a season for the rest of the season now.

Fuck them.

"McMoneyman" didn't do too bad. He went to a team where his talent was normal

Funny how Moyes complained about a rigged draw for the start of the season fixtures. Don't hear much complaints about their Christmas fixtures.

Oh yeah and to all cunts who want them to win games so Moyes stays in his job. Fuck off!

Look at the cannon fodder they've played the last five prem games. Hardly all convincing wins either. They'll always be a threat, with a decent squad and decent manager, but they won't win the league.

Can't believe this thread started when we were top of the league, or thereabouts. Why the hell are we focussing on them? Mad?

How many off the top teams have they played away from home?
Their matches against the 7 other teams in current top 8. 5 pts from 21. 4 at home, 3 away.

They have had a handy run of games at the same time we have gone through our most difficult spell of fixtures for the year. If they are within 2 points of us come the end of January that will be a different
