Gravenberch

One aspect that I think will help us is Gravenberch seems equally happy going down the outside as cutting in. With Diaz now making more central runs, having at 8 that can beat a man on the outside and get something decent into the box will be handy. Jones tends to cut in, and if he does to on the outside he typically slows play up, a bit like Grealish, and tries to pick a pass. Gravenberch has a bit of acceleration and physicality to beat a defender on the outside.

It's not that it's shallow, it's that it is wrong.

For one thing, I've taken the liberty of being more shallow, and getting a representative sampling of all photos of his girlfriend. She's beautiful.

So she didn't glam herself up for a picture where the focus of attention is meant to be her partner, and she's with family. She is unlike a lot of other gold digging whores.

Yeah i thought he's done well, and then thought i'd missed a joke

Is anyone worried that given how little he played for Bayern last season, that this guy might take take months to get upto speed ? By months I am talking nearly an entire season. Is he even fit enough to play a full 90 mins if needed ?

Not worried at all. He played 90 minutes in all 3 Netherlands U21 games this June (@Modo posted highlights earlier in this thread). Like I said, even in his short cameo vs Augsburg you could see he is match-fit and sharp. Wish he could play tomorrow!

He's made himself unavailable for the Dutch u21s, so that he can focus on settling in with us

Love it!

Saw that, and then remembered that someone said he could have an attitude problem given that he hasnt succeeded at Bayern.
How wrong people can be sometimes.

Where does he play? Is it gonna be as a 6 or 8? Or will he be rotated with Ali Mac and Dom. I honestly think we should move to 4-4-2 with Salah and Nunez upfront.

They play against Moldova and North Macedonia. I'm sure they can manage without him..

Reiziger didn't have to go public on this. Lame way of dealing with it.

Agreed. give him a break. He's just signed with a new club. He's had a torrid year and he really wants to make this work. The Dutch love to have a good moan, really.

They're all taking a pop at VVD as well, whenever he underperforms.

I was wondering the same thing. What is with Dutch managers and taking public pot shots at their players. Not that I am complaining but we had Ten Hag publicly stating Sancho is not living up to the mark in training. Why not deal with this behind close doors? Good luck getting a bid for Sancho after that public statement.
