Grand National 2013

Now normally I fucking hate horse riding but I can't resist a flutter on Grand National day. I wish I could go to Aintree actually if the condition of @Piedro the other night is anything to go by 😉

So then anyone having a flutter? Anyone know enough about the sport to make a reasonable prediction? I suppose I could just slap £10 on 'Seabass' (The favourite) But that's what I like about the GN - Within reason anyone of about 20 nags could win.

I'm on Cappa Bleu. His owners are fairly local to me, but he does have a genuine chance as well.

It was unlucky last year, has won over four miles before, carries a light weight and has a good experienced jockey on board.

Oscar Time for me, real outsider but has placed at Aintree in the past and the jockey has a good record at the track. Fingers crossed for my modest e.w bet at 66/1.

I usually go to Aintree and enjoy it, look forward to it, but I've been eaten lots of hallucinogenic mushrooms lately and for the first time ever I'm thinking it's a massive death charge, the hunger games for horses and I'm not interested.
