We're 4 points behind Arsenal/Chelsea for 4th. That is incredible considering how average we've been this year. We can still attain 4th. It's a must. It's the only thing that could a) keep Kenny b) keep Suarez (Though the chances of him being here, much to the delight of far too many fans, is slim at best) c) attract proper talent. I mean, would you rather come to Liverpool with Suarez/Gerrard leading the team, or Gerrard/Downing/Carroll? Yah, speaks volumes.

Win the Coca Cola cup. It's not a given, but it shouldn't be that tough. A trophy is a trophy, and it's positive and gets us into Europe.

Win the FA Cup. It won't be easy - but it's doable too.

Basically, win out. Mark, Sunny and a few others have mentioned it - we have to fucking put the last few months behind us and let football be the talking. Granted, that will make us unpopular again probably, but hey - at least our own fans won't complain.

4th is still, somefuckinghow, possible. Arsenal and Chelsea are just as shite as we are, and the other teams behind us are far to inconsistent.

Good post Wizzy. Let's hope we can close this sorry chapter and look forward to a couple of trophies and 4th place. Maybe the team can start firing on more than one cylinder!

It will be interesting to see how the club plays next week ... Will the players like united? motivated? how will Kenny look? Will Suarez be Suarez? Or will he take his game to a next level and really 'focus on football'? the coming weeks will tell us how united our squad really is ... and where our season will progress.

I've seen some posts after we have won a match complaining about player a or player b not playing well, some of our fans just complain for the fuck of it.

If we win the cup final 3-0 some will complain it wasn't 4-0 or 5-0
