Clarke knows them both better than Kenny and worked with them well. Its presumptious to wanna give Kenny all the credit.

It's a moot point, because we don't know their relationships well at all. All that matters is we've got a good manager and he's brought in a good right hand man. Who gives? Johnson's improved, which is probably something to do with him reverting to left back, the fact the team is playing better and because of the presence of (the likes of) Dalglish and Clarke.
I've seen this said a few times now, as though Kenny has no bearing on training, it's fucking annoying, we're playing well so why try and take that away from him? He managed one of the greatest footballing sides we've ever had, and now we're playing some good football again, or at least heading in the right direction on that note. It's hardly a coincidence.
As said, ultimately Kenny brought Steve Clarke in anyway, so if someone wants to give him the plaudits for it, fair do's. You could have just said, "Steve Clark has probably had a big impact on things too" and I doubt anyone would have taken offence to it. I only took offence because I've read the same comment numerous times in recent weeks.
It's funny, because when Hodgson's right hand man was utter shite (well reportedly so anyway), everyone blamed Hodgson for it.
