Macca wind it in a bit mate. You're completely overreacting here. People are free to to express themselves, within reason, on here. If you, or any other poster for that matter, have an issue with a particular poster or post then you can always report it and it will be assessed by moderators and dealt with accordingly if we feel it's overstepping the mark. Sheik isn't a moderator any more by the way.

I want to know what 'moderating properly' would have entailed anyway. Banning Rage for the audacity of having an opinion that differs to Macca's? We've been here before, Macca wanting Shaggy Alonso banned because he didn't like his opinion. I like your posts most of the time Macca, they can be seriously funny but there's moments, like now, when you can act like an old woman. If you're true to form you'll probably sulk off to another site for a bit. Sunny's right, keeping kids in order is hardly worth the effort at times.
 
I disagree. Anyway, I only came back to this forum because I was genuinely sick and tired of having Rashid wind people up non-stop on TLW. I just don't enjoy it. It depresses me. Now an even more infantile professional irritant is indulged here. That depresses me even more. I give up. Life really is too short. Enjoy the endless cum references, You're very welcome to them.

1. Not liking opinions has never been an issue. That's just lazy manipulation. What I object to is the toleration of chronic insults.

2. Find me any request to have anyone banned. If you don't find it, retract that.

Look, I NEVER asked for anyone to be banned, and I never would. I really resent that claim. When some idiot spends weeks making endless 'sucking'/'cum'/cock references every single time I'm trying to have a sensible conversation with others, and nothing at all happens, then I either deal with it myself or go away. If I go away this is 'an old woman' - brilliant, that, really impressive invective - and if I deal with it myself John Stuart Fecking Mill arrives to preach toleration. If you can't actually see how tiresome THAT is I'm at a loss. I half suspect it's encouraged to keep the place ticking over.

Maybe we are too lenient, but the fact is he posts anti-rafa posts and is savaged by everyone, its hardly suprising he resorts to insults, hes constantly barraged by it.
I personally dont mind you kicking him about a bit, he asks for it.

The pattern is always the same: someone comes on purely to wind people up with impunity. When someone finally snaps at the daily provocation (not because they don't tolerate other opinions, but simply because they're sick to death of every discussion being hijacked by this idiot's blatant niggling), someone else suddenly decides they want to demonstrate how liberal they are by defending the irritant. This hugely amuses said irritant, who then tones down the antics for a while so as to leave his infuriated victim - 'the old woman' - seem like the real problem. Then, sniggering, he starts seeking someone else to wind up. The phenomenon has almost become the norm on most forums these days. It's dead easy - we could all do it, very effectively, if we were so minded - I could do it and I'm very confident I could get any one of you, far more subtly, to snap within a week - but is it really so hard to see through? He'll get around to you eventually, you know.

Unlike the rest of us Rage only talks about one thing on here, and that's Rafa. Just ignore the boring whopper Macca.
 
One of the changes we're hoping to make in the next week or two is an "Ignore User" function. That should save a load of hassle and create a downturn in hysteria. The sooner the fucking better.

EDIT: Of course, with the posters we have on here, we'll probably end up with everyone ignoring each other and all they'll see is a blank forum. Some posters will wonder what the hell is going on when no-one responds to them.
