Anybody on here watch MLS? How has he done this year, he seemed to be complaining about the travel aspect of the league earlier in the year. Is he being released this summer or will they offer him an extension

No we shouldn't have done that. He was shit last season. Now when he got some rest and a pre-season he is playing much better but that is now. Last season he was shit and couldn't even cope with the pace in the MLS.

I've watched about 7 or 8 LA Galaxy games that he's featured in, and he's looked really fucking mediocre in all of them.

I agree; the standard of the MLS is miles off the Premier League, but so too is Gerrard. Don't be fooled by this 'wondergoal' - his days of top level competitiveness are done.

It seems most people seem to think that it's a slight to admit that, but it really isn't. It doesn't detract from the player he was to point it out.
