It’s probably the most likeable England squad i can remember including the coaching setup. Southgate despite the obvious crticism is backed well by the FA and players and there’s a togtherness without club boundaries which has not always been the case.
His pragmatic approach is right for international tournament footy, fair play to him.

To be fair they're doing a decent job and the defence and keeping has been close to flawless.

My concern with the conservative approach we display is will eventually come unstuck against sides with a decent defence, and we'll go out on pens. To date, he bench has been able to have a massive impact against tired legs. Hopefully that continues.

Kane is also a complete waste of space. Barely touches the ball, barely gets involved. I know he scored, but Sterling was there to tap it in if he didn't, and his performance levels for a Captain have been inexcusable.
