Like Torres, Gerrard, Reina, Skrtel, Agger, Carragher, Kuyt. Even Lucas played a fair chunk of that season and we managed to finish second.

I am a little baffled by the fact that it seems ost "pundits" and experts in UK feels that Roy is not to blame? What did he do. DId he finally reveal the true Liverpool? DId he finally get the real deal out of players who had been performing well better before, but were not that good in reality? Is it a praise to Benitez who got so much more out of these players?
