The amount of shit he gets seems disproportionate to me and it doesn't sit right. Granted, he doesn't help himself but surely that's what the ignore function is for.

Now here lies the problem man. No one has any real allegiances to Skrtel. The use of 'Your Man' creates a loyalty that doesn't really exist. Everyone is just saying goodbye to a player who has served us well. I'm not the biggest Skrtel fan in the world but he'll get my respect after all the years he gave us, just like many others players in the past have gotten from us.
The hardcore Agger fans get a bit confused when it comes to Skrtel. They associate him with Agger, there is competition there, it's one or the other with them. The majority of us don't see it like that. We just see two players who have played for us. Both have now left. I think back on Agger more fondly.
Be honest with me, is your dislike for Skrtel stemming from his competition for places at times with Agger? I don't want anything but a Yes or a No answer, but I doubt you'll give me that. I don't want you to try and convince me that Skrtel isn't a good defender or anything, I just want a yes or no answer please.
P.S. I was one of your biggest defenders on here and often requested your return so don't see this as an attack. I just think you are once again muddled up in an unnecessary Agger/Skrtel debate.
P.S.S. I wouldn't be siding with Arn on anything to be honest. He's just a confused hypocrite. He has no idea what he's talking about. His two reason for hating Skrtel are; he agreed with a tweet his idiot mate sent and he refused to play for a previous manager. I'm trying to think of the game in question. I can only come up with a Middlesbrough game where he was playing right back and wasn't comfortable at all. I think Carragher stated he offered to play there then because Skrtel didn't want to as he wasn't comfortable there. Hardly downing tools now is it?
As for the tweet, bit silly yeah but Lucas has vented his anger via twitter before but Arn has conveniently glossed over that. Well, this is Arn we are talking about. Someone who hates Rodger because he lied to Agger. Ah look, Agger rears his head again. Arn wants us to support all our players, the manager etc, well except the players or managers he doesn't want to support.

Mark only wanted Skrtel to get a decent send off. Some people don't like Skrtel so aren't pushed that he's gone. I'm totally okay that he's gone going btw. Mark is taking exception to the known die hard Agger fans who are using Skrtel's departure as a dig which was probably only born out of a love affair with Agger.
I just want to point out something, it's pretty mad how you seem to not like a player because he competed for a place with Agger. It's not like Skrtel kept Hansen out of the team at times. It was Daniel Agger, a nice lad and a good defender. That's it.

I was extremely annoyed that Skrtel was favourited at times over Agger when I thought it was wrong. Made me see his flaws even clearer probably. And I know I was far too eager to promote Agger and that I annoyed a lot of you with my Agger posts. And I have prob been a cunt about it too.
But even then I would never go to the rhetoric extremes and bullying as a lot of the mods in this thread. Never.
But yeah I really liked Agger. And a lot of you hated him because of it and it shows in every single thread about him. And the fact you even dare to insinuate Mark is objective on the matter make all your arguments week.
