One of the reasons why I truely believe we've got a chance with Eriksen, especially now with a manager like Rodgers around:

In todays De Telegraaf Eriksen's agent Martin Schoots revealed how he was invited to Manchester this Summer by City and was given the grand tour of the Stadium, the club, the city before getting an invite to Eriksen to visit Mancini in his Summer residence in Sardinia.

- Christian didn't even consider the offer for 10 seconds, Schoots told the Dutch paper and explained further,

- Money isn't that important to him. He chose to focus on his developments as a player with Ajax. He's got a splendid relationship with Frank de Boer and loves Amsterdam.
