No problem Avy! And don't worry about the tickets, I'm sure everything will be ok.

Re: Tiger.

Unfortunately I have never taken Tiger before. However I just heard from my colleague about the horrors of Tiger's customer service. Also she advised me to read the terms and conditions carefully before purchasing the tickets. I guess it's all moot though since you have already bought the tickets.

🙁

That's a bit worrying.

Hopefully it's not too bad.

I was a bit ticked off when I received my email booking confirmation together with a 7 page Terms and Conditions agreement tho.

Ross : Hopefully...though we'd better wait till we have more confimed numbers...you have no idea how many times I've heard from my mates over the years 'why can't Liverpool come to Malaysia...bloody Carlsberg....blah blah...IF THEY EVER COME HERE, I'M THERE!!!'

Then when they actually come on a tour, they're 'too busy'..

So let's see how many turn up.

Truth be told, it's a bit steep for some of us.

The equivalent in sterling is low, but since most of us are paid in local currency; it does hurt.

Lol Avvy I don't think Carlsberg is the stumblng block as I remember clearly that steve McMahon was part of a team trying to bring Liverpool to Malaysia (for a match against Selangor it was suggested). The sponsorship issue was raised and they had said that there were alternatives.

Thing is, I bet that they would have come here this year IF NOT FOR THE FUCKING MANCSCUM BASTARD TOUR OF ASIA FOR THE 2,145,466TH TIME IN THE SPACE OF TEN YEARS!!

I have already gotten my ticket!

Not an advertisement but you can try to get tickets at the local fanclub.
http://www.eastofanfield.com/

Apparently they will be gathering and providing banners, flags and stuff for the fans (are we chelsea now!??).
But happy days. 😀

I got my tickets too. Will be seating in the 'Kop' end with my family. Let me know if any of you guys will be there. Don't forget to collect your free scarf as well when you're at the match (for those who are sitting in the 'Kop' end).

FWIW, tickets are selling pretty fast here. Let's hope we do our bit to boost the coffers and sign Ribery!!!

She only experienced difficulties after she purchased the tickets because she wanted to change the date. I don't think you'll have any problems at all.

Can't wait to see the Reds and maybe we can meet up or something too.

Like that must tell my son to buy the tix fast. Tell him to buy the Kop End so that a scarf is thrown in for free?

According to the website,

Any fan who decides to purchase a ticket for 'The Kop' will receive an exclusive limited edition Kop Scarf. This will help in truly recreating the legend that is 'The Kop'.

Take note Mike, its the seats for the EAST entrance. Tell your son not to get the wrong tickets.

Yeah, the Mancs are coming here too.

In July,is it?

As if there arent enough wankers already wearing Scum jerseys walking around.

I'll be putting myself under house arrest during their trip.

Fuck United.

Sorry,Stevie..

Aside from Singapore and Thailand your best bet is probably Malaysia,Indonesia,Hong Kong and Brunei.

The link DHSC put up shows all the outlets..

I think most Malaysians will be in the East Stand ie 'The Kop' end; apparently most of the tickets allocated here are for that end alone.

Hope the scarf is nice; all I need is my jester hat and I'm done ;D

I'm glad tickets are selling fast in Singapore; they seem to be a little slow in Malaysia, truth be told.

Very little money will be earned tho.

Profits on Ticket sales from the entire game would probably just cover Gerrard's salary for a month or two ;D

All about the marketing and visibility; especially since the Scum are having their own tour.

Particularly bitter for me as they actually ARE coming to Malaysia.

Maybe I can migrate.

Will be seated at the Kop End.

I think the Singapore tickets are for all the stands tho; so maybe your boys can look for better seats.

Some of the Lower Grandstand tickets are going at SGD 88 too...might be worth a look.

Though I'd still want to sit in the East Stand; not sure when I'll ever sit in The Kop...so this is the next best thing. 8)

As for drinkies, that sounds great...but we'd better wait to see how many people are actually going before we arrange anything ;D

In fact, maybe I'll start a thread...

I'm bringing the missus; I'm really hoping that it's a good match...but more importantly,I'm hoping she well...'gets' it...if you follow me.

Why this club is such a big deal for me.

All u fellas better sing,ah.

A friend of mine who's a massive Red is also going, he's suffering from cancer ..I think I've mentioned him here before.

He's coming down with his Manc brother and cousins...both Mancs and Reds..his brother is actually a very good friend of mine; and it's great that they're doing this for him.

Got my tickets in Malaysia.I was told that the scarves will be given out on match day to those holding tickets for 'the Kop'.I don't think it will be any different in Singapore.

Cheers mate. Btw did they state any seating on the ticket itself? If not, I presume it'll be based on arrival basis? (everyone will be scrambling to get a seat at 'the kop')

Well it goes like this. The tickets are sold in four groups The Kop,North,South and Grandstand. So if you have a ticket for the kop you can only sit in the kop area. the sitting within the kop area though is free.I hope I explained it clearly... :-[

Thanks for the clarification. I was thinking since The Kop, North and South gallery are at the same price, why would anyone not opt for The Kop (perhaps the only 'fear' is 'congestion' there? 😛). Guess I have to hurry in getting the tickets so as not to missed out on a place at The Kop.

I was thinking the same thing actually; especially since even the Lower Grandstand tickets are going at the same price.

From what I was told, the organisers are really going to try make the East Stand into a real mini Kop with cheers and songs and the like...hence the scarves...might be a bit much for fans travelling with kids tho, who might want tickets in quieter areas.

Hows sales in Singapore,Binny?
