Thing is, how the midfield is without Hendo I'd want Milner there, not as a LB. Would rather punt on Larouci or Lewis as LB, rest Robbo and see how we can get the midfield flowing again

Robbo has been one of our better players since the winter break, I hope we don't rest him. But do rest Trent.

Got to go strong tonight, another loss is unacceptable. Need to get back to winning ways. If this was a league game tonight he would be putting out the usual suspects regardless of Bournemouth at weekend. Actually I’d nearly go full strength tonight and maybe mix it up a ‘little’ at the weekend. Need to win this game!

It's hard to call whether players need a rest, or need to "play themselves into form" after two weeks off, or just need fucking dropping. Look how awful the likes of Firmino, Wijnaldum and Fabinho have been in the last few games; Fabinho shouldn't need a rest; Firmino has dips in form all the time; Wijnaldum has more than a few totally invisible games every season.

TAA has certainly played a LOT of football for a young lad, but as you say, Robbo, who has played just as much, is actually showing better form over the last 2 months or so.

So we know nothing, really. It's all guess-work.

Quite like that, good mix of players with experience and who should perform, players who are bit part players who have points to prove and the kids who deserve a chance. Trent rested who is the one player who really needs it.
I really like that lineup, should be interesting. Good blend that, although i do think that Matip could have done with a game.

Chelsea going full-strength, other than Gilmour and Kepa (who's only temporarily 2nd choice).

Worried about the midfield, Fabs-Lallana-Jones is also one-paced. Interesting that Lovren isn't even on the bench. Mane-Minamino-Origi makes sense.

Interesting line up. A big chance for some of the fringe players to mix it up with the first teamers

Hmm. That’s a midfield lacking in dynamism and both Origi and Minamino have produced pretty much fuck all so far

I'm not that pleased with that lineup tbh.

If Fabinho is in the same kind of form he's been in the last few matches that midfield will look lightweight.

Any attack with Mane in it should be great, but again, if he's not on form that could look horrible, with a lightweight Minamino & often one dimensional Origi alongside him.

It's risky. Those risks pay off for klopp more than most, but on the back of two defeats it's even more of a risk than usual.

Yeah, and if we follow up two bad defeats with another tonight, and also get knocked out by those horrible Atletico cunts, the meltdown will be getting close to Chernobyl levels

Goal and an assist for Minamino tonight. If only I could find somewhere to place that bet.

Went for just an anytime goal instead.
