that's sad to hear. i think the only place left you can guarantee good red squirrel-spotting action is Brownsea Island, although tbh it's not as exciting an activity as you might imagine.

that's sad to hear. i think the only place left you can guarantee good red squirrel-spotting action is Brownsea Island, although tbh it's not as exciting an activity as you might imagine.

I know this one. I know this one. The one eating the nut is the odd one out cos he facing a different direction to the others.
 
In wildlife conservation terms, squirrels are passé.

Beaver is where it's at.
 
Well yeah, I say little cunts, they're still cute, but they're the dominant ones & have gradually decimated the original UK indigenous population of red squirrels.

There's a nature reserve in Formby near Liverpool where the red squirrel prevails.

We don't even have the grey-ones over here but a red one is nesting in a tree in the back of our garden. It's so fucking cute. I could eat it.
 
I've never seen a red squirrel.

The ones I see back home are very similar to the grey ones here, tho a bit more brown.
