He's kept possession instead of trying to release it after two seconds like every other player bar Mane (whose touch & shooting have let him down badly) & Lovren.
That's what we needed more players to do, it slowed them down & allowed us to play football.

Poor first half, though better in the latter stages that's not saying much.
Everton have outfought us and we've been second best in pretty much every area of the pitch, no space for our players to even turn before someone is on them, their long balls look incisive and dangerous whereas ours look desperate and panicked, we're losing pretty much every second ball and we've been off the pace throughout.

This. We never really got going and Everton looked a bit tired towards the end.
Klopp will be on them to play their natural game and we'll probably get a bit more space and time on the ball in the second half.

Our most in form finisher are Lallana and Origi - I'll stick with them thank you (FOR NOW). Studge, if it continues, can take the last 20 minutes to score a winner and give you some happiness

Why? Our win record is much better with Firmino up top. Can will come on and add some muscle into midfield.
Possibly because Lovren is playing better than him and Lukaku is giving Klavan a fucking heart attack every time he goes near him.
Firmino has been horrible today. Origi needs to bully their defenders more. But for me the one who should make way is Firmino.
