Everton Fucked?

I don't know mate. They seem so defeated already. Loads I know have already reconciled themselves with it. Reckon the derby could get nasty like

Yeah I know a few that are completely deflated and don't want to go the games any more. A few I know are absolutely furious though and are baying for blood

Just seen MOTD - Gordon and Lampard are talking almost as if they’re the other end of the table. Maybe that’ll drive them forward but honestly it sounded delusional

Apart from Watford losing which removes the popular survival choice - Everton AND Everton down and 6 free points next season

Reminds me of the time I lost a bet and had to wear a United shirt - A UNITED SHIRT - to play a five-a-side game. I was so disgusted I played out of my skin and went and got MOTM. 😱
And then you became a much better footballer because you learned how to tap into your anger whenever you played?

And now Burnley decides to shit the bed. Ffs.
This is another bad omen in advance of our match.

We're doomed.
Nah, they’re fucked long term. It’s a matter of when, not if, they go down. They stay up Lampturd stays. They can’t sign anyone. Fucked. Next season will be just as hilarious.

Ha. Not really as I've never made a habit of getting angry, but I realised I had the same kind of mindset as big Jan Molby. If anyone ever made the mistake of kicking him he'd get mad and boss the game from then on. We might have lost the first Merseyside Cup Final if Peter Reid hadn't whacked him. 😀

2 seasons of comedy, not sure my heart could take that

Good luck paying that back you ball bag of a club.

Everton have taken another significant step in the development of their new stadium by signing a main construction contract with Laing O’Rourke. The deal will see the company complete works at Bramley Moore dock and locks in costs for the club, preventing the final bill from spiralling.
The new 52,888-capacity stadium on Liverpool’s waterfront is expected to cost in the region of £500m and, despite rising prices throughout the construction industry, the contract gives Everton greater financial certainty over the remaining stages of the build.

I would expect that Laing will need payment guarantees before they commit to work - good chance the Blueshite will need to put a rolling couple of month’s money into an escrow account to guarantee they’ll keep working. The second they default, tools down, contract terms cease to apply and costs start to spiral.
Also, chances are the contract will be for a fixed price but for a set job - any variations (there will be loads) or unexpected problems and the costs can go south very quickly.
