Europa League - Bordeux (Home)

Do we have any decent reserve centre backs? Anyway I'd go with something like

-------------Bogdan-------------

--Randall----Toure----Lovren-----Clyne/Moreno/Enrique??

--------Lucas---------Milner

Ibe-------------Firmino-------------Origi

-----------------Benteke-----------------

Ther should be enough there to win the game without burning out every senior player. We'd have Lallana and possibly Sturridge on the bench if we needed to change anything offensively.

Given Lucas will play due to his league ban, it's a good opportunity to put a kid alongside him (Chirivella?)

I'd also certainly start Origi to give him a run against familiar opposition and rest Lallana.

We are light on CB's with Sakho and Gomez out. We were all disappointed when Teix was left out of the initial EL squad and Kolo was suggested as the one who should have made way for his inclusion. We could do with Kolo staying fit in case anything was to happen to Skrtel. I don't really want to see Can at CB again.

After seeing Milner make that horrendous attempted pass back in the City game, I'd say he's as much in need of a mental rest as a physical one.
It not a surprise really. He's played more & run more than any other player this season (I think). He did look dead on his feet second half that match.

Ming
Clyne Toure Lovren Moreno
Lucas Allen
Ibe Firmino Lallana
Benteke

I hate the Lucas and Allen combo and dont really want to see it again but we should rest Can and Milner.
Shame Tex cant play.
Sturridge to come on and play 20 mins.
Is Enrique in the squad? Maybe rest Moreno.

In the Presser Klopp said Sktel is ill and Sahko injured so we are looking at Toure and Lovren with an u21 as backup

Persistent reports on the radio this afternoon that Bordeux has an "a" between the "e" and "u", thus rendering the phonetic pronunciation "bordoh" rather than "borduh"

I'm looking forward to this. Mostly coz it's the first game in my life I'll be wearing glasses for. I was prescribed some in school like 30 years ago and couldn't be arsed with them, but things came to a head recently when I asked my mate to confirm Benteke had scored and it was Coutinho.

Hahaha. Really?! You thought Countinho was Benteke?

My mate loves watching the match in mine on the projector cos he can see the clock & which player is which without wearing his glasses!

Just wait until you see how shit Lucas really is.

does anyone think we will be really good in this game ? - do you think we will go all out Klopp style for this ?

It's ok where I am in the lower but I can't tell anyone apart in the upper centenary now when I've been there a couple of times this season. I didn't think it was a big deal but the difference in the clarity on the TV is nuts so I am looking forward to seeing the diff at the ground.

I slipped in the bath and whacked my head, like you hear happening to old people. I'll have to use those hand rails now. Or move into a care home perhaps.

But I noticed as I was falling your brain actually steps it up a notch and slows down your perception of time, allowing you to make adjustments as though it was in slow motion. If you could replicate whatever chemicals make your brain do that, it could in theory allow Origi to see the game like Zidane. Otherwise he shouldn't start any games.

@Liddellpool: Mignolet; Clyne, Toure, Lovren, Moreno; Milner, Lucas, Allen; Ibe, Firmino; Benteke. acc to Paul Joyce
